July 7, 200719 yr Author Ray, finish the Restless Ghost Quest on your skiller. It raises up prayer enough to gain a combat level. P.S. How did this discussion move onto this?
July 7, 200719 yr a 99 wcer and nothing els trained wont match that... ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined
July 7, 200719 yr I'm still open on suggestions for the total level requirement. Is 500 a bit better? Afterall we can't make it too low because the lower it is, the more autoers there will be.500 seems reasonable, I would say the 700 would be good except for the skillers. At any rate I support this. [spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011: Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85
July 7, 200719 yr skillers really need to do something with their lives. i really like this idea, i support. I disagree with your choice of words. I am now 100% Pure Skiller. Pure Skillers do NOT have to change what they do! Some people don't train prayer! Or farming! (Etc) Pure skillers have a choice on what to train, and what to do. They are human, unlike your selfish idioticy* 500 total level, 700 total lv, they are all unrealistic. Let's take a look at the non-members break up of skills... combat_ Attack Strength Defese hitpoints Range Mage Prayer ....Prayer isn't a combat skill....Prayer is a combat skill you just need like 30 lvls of prayer to level combat... On topic: I think 700 or 500 is too much, how about 300? because thats over 2 99s (ofcours you don't even need 1 99 to get 300 total but 1 or 2 won't do which makes it imposible for bots to not train other skills if they want to try macro system). Also, I think lobs, coal, mith, addy, sharks and swordies should have total lvl requirement (each 1 a diffrent number since you need diffrent lvls to be able to get them). support new ghostly stuff here.I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW..signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If
July 7, 200719 yr No it doesn't. My skiller has 5 prayer, no combat level higher than 3 =]Let me know what happens when you raise another prayer level.. I did *Hmph* still level 3 8 prayer = 1 combat lvl... ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined
July 8, 200719 yr RayOxide just go to a combat calculator on Tip.It and put in 99 all except prayer and you won't get 126 combat...Prayer IS a combat skill. support new ghostly stuff here.I see RuneScape slowly turning into a sadistic version of WoW..signature your as this use backwards this read to enough smart were you If
July 9, 200719 yr i have to agree 700 is way to high I think that it should be more oround 400 so skillers who work on more then just wc but the macrows who only do wc would not be able to get them any way I suport f2p for lifeI apologize for my terrible spelling
July 9, 200719 yr In almost every solution the only problem is skillers, im almost tempted to just say to bad the ends justify the means... almost.

July 9, 200719 yr i completely disagree. this is really discrimination (for a lack of a better term) against people who choose to focus on certain skills. if the minimum was 500 that would be way too much. as pointed out earlier skillers would need to have each skill at an average in the mid to high 80's. i would try to find a better solution that doesnt eliminate the possible progress of a skiller.

July 10, 200719 yr No it doesn't. My skiller has 5 prayer, no combat level higher than 3 =]Let me know what happens when you raise another prayer level.. I did *Hmph* still level 3 Prayer DOES raise your combat level, get it to 8 or 9 and you'll see :?

Besides, it would make it so that you will have work hard to get at the yew trees. About the pure woodcutters, they will have to lose. Because Autoers are "pure woodcutters" as well.
July 12, 200719 yr I strongly do not support. 1. Woodcutting is not the only skill that is flooded with macros. 2. This would confuse many new players. On Tutorial Island, a beginner wonders: "I wonder why you need 500 total level to cut yews..." Because Jagex definately won't make the tutor say, "You need a high total level to cut yews because a lot of macros woodcut yews." Then the beginner will only ask, "Whats a macro?" 3. This may only encourage high macroing in other possible AFK skills. Macro owners see that they need a high total level to cut their yews, so they start macroing in fishing and mining, to gain their total level. Obviously this idea needs to be more thought out.

They could put total level restrictions for the lobster fishing spots and stuff. Whatever gets infested with macroers will have a total level limit. Like I said, it would be unpractical, but the fact is, they could have a completly simple explanation for why there needs to be a total level.

July 14, 200719 yr ....Prayer isn't a combat skill.... Although this is off-topic, IT IS!... Sorry for that, just had say that, but I tottlay disagree, for new free player (and some n00by, mid-level members :-w ...) and pures/skillers it's too hard to get. Name is Seth161991,Private is always on![/bads]
July 16, 200719 yr prayer is a combat skill... un-official definition of combat skill: A skill that when raised enough levels, results in you combat level also rising. sry for that off topic bit i think your idea is good but maby like 200 toatl lev, i dont think macros will go the truble to raise ether skills i suport God gave men both a p*n*s (male body part) and a brain, but unfortunately not enough blood supply to run both at the same time!
