I got a clue scroll drop from an ankou and am considering just dropping it. I've contacted RS mods and they say that the lower lvl your monster (the ankou was lvl 75), the lower wealth of the clue. Should I just drop it (it'll probably take 2 hrs for me to finish with me being slow), or should I just do it?

 

 

 

If anyone can post their rewards from ankou clue scrolls, that would be helpful, thanks.

 

 

 

Also, would anyone know if a ring of wealth would increase the rune drop rate from ankous?

Ankou's clues are level 3's. All level 3's are the same the monster doesn't matter. You should do it 'cause you can get good stuff from level 3s.

Yes, but I've sent messages to several RS mods, and they say that the rewards have a larger chance of being rune items (not god or 3rd age or whatever) when finishing a clue scroll dropped by a lower levelled monster, such as cyclops or ankous.

 

 

 

But if someone could post what they got from an ankou clue, it might aid me in whether I should spend a few hrs on the clue and buying Uri's stupid random items.

All clue scroll prizes are random. Someone might get an item worth 5mill and the other might get something worth 5k.

Jagex mods aren't always right. Many times the mods have been wrong. I can tell you now, the level doesn't matter. I got a lvl 2 clue off a middle leveled monster and got a double ele clue and I've got lvl 2's off the top end lvl 2 dropping monster and only gotten a few addy items. It is all random.

I think it's stated somewhere that the chances of finding better items are slightly bigger if it comes from a highlevel monsters.

 

 

 

So: a level3 clue from an ankou or from a hellhound can give the same reward, only the clue of the hellhound has like 0.000000000000001 more chance of giving 3rd age or something.

 

(I don't know the figures, and if someone can confirm it)

 

 

 

so basicly: you just have to get lucky, no matter what monster you get the clue from.

 

The only thing that really matters is the level of the clue.

Funny Enough. I Do actually have direct proof to show you why the monster dosent matter.

 

 

 

I have gotten 3rd age from a clue, and funny enough it was from an anoku, the lowest monster to drop level 3's.

 

 

 

The prizes you get are completly random, really has nothing to do with the level of monster, because a clue's prize isnt determined until you do the last step. So the level of the monster wouldnt effect it at all.
