Why do you play rs?

Featured Replies

Since its summer I rarley play maybe like 20 mins every 3 days. It can actually be fun, as long you don't spend all burning yourself out by like fishing or Wcing. The only reason I don't play much now, is that it is a lot more fun hanging out with my friends, and doing stuff with them, but Runescape can be fun, as long as you play it, the way that makes you happiest.

I play because of freedom... When i get tired of one skill...I choose another to do ...many to choose from... Not to mention The hundred+ quests or the awesome mini games. I also like how the weapon speed effects your fight. Some games' combat system are a... you hit me...i hit you...flinch a little...and so on...

You can just stand there and have fun...by watching other people.

Also...i like how you can set goals. And accomplish them.

Jagex updates every week...so you cant "beat" the game...

Id much rather put my time into something that will last me as long as i want...as to playing a...play station 2 game and beating it after a week.

I also enjoy making friends...Ones who you build trust with.

I guess its a bit of everything... \'

Fun mainly

But these are the reasons they realy play:

Because all role playing games are an escape from the "outside" world. With all the stress in our daily lives Runescape is an "escape"of the mind from those worries.

Also Runescape "allows" you to be something your not. You can be rich and famous and the best player but in "real" life your poor and not too famous.

I play for the friends. If it weren't for the friends, I would find something else to do in my free time. However, that is not to say that I do not have friends in the real world. I mean free time that is not devoted to school, work, or seeing friends in real life.
