Now, this would take a lot of work from Jagex...not saying it would happen necessarily...anyway, since Rule 13 says that you may not give out personal details such as email addresses in-game, maybe Jagex could create an on-site email communication system using the game inbox on the RuneScape website. Although it would take work, it could possibly create a safer environment for players to communicate with each other and take away some motivation to give out email addresses in-game and allow players to talk to each other in email format even when they are offline.

 

 

 

Since I'm not Jagex, I can't describe all of the features and details that it may have, but I have the general idea.

 

 

 

Opinions? I know that it would be hard, but it could help in keeping players from giving out email addresses which is expressed as against the rules in Rule 13 as of May 2, 2007.

However, the feasibility seems low, since it would require massive storage space on servers, therefore, Jagex would need to implement a way to raise money to combat the server costs... Otherwise, it seems great. :thumbsup:

It would be nice to have but JAGeX will have to be very generous on their part as it will be expensive which will take away other updates to the game. I support but as I mentioned it would be expensive.

For 3 dollars extra per month jagex gives you a e-mail address of [username]@runescape.com. I would definitely do it. 8-)

Why not allow info in PM's? It's annoying to try to get friend's email and IMs when its filtered, even in PM. The info censor should be off there and an option to remove profanity censor in PM...cause it "sucks"
