Gabe93walla
Making Battlestaves So, you want to make battlestaves? Inside this guide is all you need to know to get the job done! [hide=Getting Started] To begin, you must first create the orbs to later charge then put on the staff. To make an unpowered orb, you need these materials: Molten glass - made from putting soda ash and a bucket of sand in a furnace soda ash - made by cooking seaweed on a fire/range or bought from port ships bucket of sand - made by using a bucket with a sand pit or getting from Bert (after finishing hand in the sand) Glassblowing pipe - spawns in the house near the ranging guild and on Entrana [/hide] [hide=Buying Battlestaves] Battlestaves are the key ingredient to this, you can buy them in 3 locations: Zaff in Varrock Magic Shop in the Magic Guild And from Baba Yaga (which is my favorite) - Located on Lunar Isle Prices With five in stock - 7000gp With four in stock - 7140gp With three in stock - 7280gp With two in stock - 7420gp With one in stock - 7560gp[/hide] [hide=Charging the Orbs] This is where you run to the corresponding obelisk for the staves you are going to make. Here are the locations of each obelisk: WARNING! For the Air and Earth obelisks, they are located in the Wilderness! Use Caution! Water (lvl 54 crafting required) - In the taverly dungeon, run to the blue dragons (dusty key required unless you have 70 agility or 67 w/ agility potion) and keep going until you reach the black dragons, then go up the ladder. Fire (lvl 58 crafting required) - Follow exact same path as water obelisk, except when you reach the black dragons you turn left. Earth (lvl 62 crafting required) - In the Edgeville dungeon, run to the Black Demons, then go south. Air (lvl 66 crafting required) - Also in the Edgeville dungeon, run to the Black Demons and go north to the ladder. Go up the ladder and you're there. [hide=Water/Fire Map] [/hide] [hide=Earth/Air Map] [/hide][/hide] [hide=Combining the Two] Now that you have charged the orbs and have the staves, you get to combine them! To do this, you just use a charged orb with a battlestaff. Thanks to a recent update, you can make all in your inventory![/hide] [hide=Now what to do?] Now that you have created the battlestaves, what do you do with them? High Alchemy gives us an answer! By alching them, you make roughly 2k per stave. This makes 2m for every 1k you make! Alching Amounts Water Staff - 9300gp Fire Staff - 9300gp Earth Staff - 9300gp Air Staff - 9300gp[/hide] Thanks for reading this guide to making battlestaves! [hide=credits] Special thanks to Tip.It for their dungeon maps. Thanks to the skill of crafting! Without it, we'd be lost.[/hide] If you liked this thread, feel free to comment and rate! Malhavok
Simple and easy to follow, but lacks alot for first timers. Such as how to obtain molten glass, better info on shop locations, warnings about the earth and aitr altar, the prices of battlestaffs in the shops, etc. Needs more info. But good for a start. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !

Deacon
IIRC, the staves are cheaper in the Magic Guild: 5 in stock - 7000gp 4 in stock - 7010gp 3 in stock - 7020gp 2 in stock - 7030gp 1 in stock - 7040gp
Death_Dude74
You forgot the other agility shortcut! If you have 80 (77 with pot) you can do the [bleep]e blades jump located north of the entrance. Mention to bring an antipoison pot for fire/water, as there are poison spiders!! You should tell how to get back. For Fire/Water, you can A)C wars tele and use balloon to Taverly, or B) Fally Tele. For Earth/Air either A) Glory to edge, or B) use home tab/tele and use mounted glory to Edge. You need to mention to bring a poison pot for earth battlestaves! Magic guild is best because it saves cash imo. List experience. It could use times for each run.

Theoknight2
Bring all the orbs in your invent ( leave 5 spaces),some cash ( like 50k), some nats and equip a fire staff. Buy all the battle-staffs they have in stock and make em into staffs. Alch em there and use the cash you made to buy more battle-staves. Really good method IMO. MrBowser
Which one is the shortest, out of them all? That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gemof innocence inside of you that makes you wantto believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.--Lise Hand
Gabe93walla
that would be air/earth since they just break apart at that room, one goes up ladder other goes into room. Please leave a comment on my blog, because I am a noob!
