Long or short hair on a male?

Featured Replies

I've been sporting a head full of hair since the end of 5th grade (going into 10th) and I love my hair.

Sure, 15 minute showers daily get boring but i'd rather do that than have short hair.

I hate when other guys let there body hair grow longer than the hair on their head, thats a rule for me, if your head hair isn't the longest hair on your body, its to short. Unless they go bald, which works for some.

Anyways, my hair is probably over a 1 1/2 feet long now if stretched out, but it coils up naturally so it barely touches my shoulders.

My hair currently just covers my ears, but I'm going to get it cut soon, although I have to keep it reasonably long to hide my ridiculously large forehead

but really it all depends on your head shape and face

There is more than long or short hair. Anyways, define "Long" and "Short"

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

Not really acurate, short hair could mean almost bald (E.G. 1 Mm of hair) for example. Anyways my hair is like 2-3 Cms long and i like it, i woulnd look good with long hair. So i'll go for short :).

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

I personally favor longer hair. But it also depends on the face. I believe I look better in medium-long or possibly even long hair. Right now I can stretch my bangs to my eyes and it curls upward a little in the front, curls at the ends on the side slightly, and curls up a lot in the back. On top of my head, the hair is wavy and when I wake up in the morning, it's a little curly all over (not like an afro though).

I also like to dye it and I'm debating whether or not I should use straightening shampoo + conditioner and let it dry during sleep and then use a hair straightener (flatiron) in the morning to make my hair straight or not.

It's great. I've stopped using a comb and I brush it now and the hair moves easier. It's fun to let my hair flop around. I also like to play with my hair. lol.

It has its benefits as well. It provides extra cushioning and warmth. The downside would be that it traps sweat in when you're exercising, so your hair gets real damp and it needs to be washed as soon as possible.

Also I don't see what's so attractive with guys using so much hairspray and styling gel. I have experimented with my hair by using gel once and it wasn't that great... Your hair feels like concrete and the gel can flake.

SWAG

Mayn U wanna be like me but U can't be me cuz U ain't got ma swagga on.

I'd really love to let my hair grow, but it just seems like a chaotic mass of playing dough without any kind of shape, so I have to keep it short.

This signature is intentionally left blank.

To everyone afraid of growing out their hair, it takes comitment, the first year you start growing it out it WILL look goofy and weirdly shaped. When it gets some weight and it's alot longer, it will be managable and normal looking.
