Ok After reading over Snarlin's thread, I decided to make this thread as to not "Steal his thunder" (In other words, hijack his post).

 

 

 

So the age old questions is arisen: What is generally best look on men? Is it short hair that you could barely measure on a ruler because there isnt a measurement that small on it. Or is is nice, longer hair good for a man as well.

 

 

 

Personally, I think it depends on facial features. Myself, I think i look terrible with short hair. My hair comes down to my neck in the back. It is really curly, and I can stretch my bangs down to my nose. I used to be in cadets, so i had to have my hair really really short back then. I think i looked really bad because i have slightly higher check bones and my eyes (this is just what i think) dont give off that "Short hair tough look".

 

 

 

There are some guys that can sport the short hair or bald look, and not look weird, but it really bugs me when all those "Gangsters" go and shave their heads cause they think its the cool thing to do. I often get remarks from those kinds of people asking if i like men. It's rather horrible :|

 

 

 

So what are your opinions on the hair lengths on males.

Long hair is a disgrace in my book. Can't stand it. Those rock stars with hair down to their shoulders or hair covering their eyes completely... its disturbing IMHO. I think either Short hair or no hair at all is better than long.

I only like hair long if it's afro hair. A hairstyle would be better though, cornrows, china rolls, long as it isn't nappy then you're cool. Otherwise keep it short.

Well, I have semi-long hair: not to a girly length, but a decent length.

 

 

 

I just have never looked good in short hair or a buzz cut, so I stick with keeping it longish.

Different hair lengths suit different people. People should just go with whatever looks good on them and whatever they're comfortable with. I don't think I've ever let hair be a deciding factor when choosing a partner, although having said that, I do like to be able to pull it a little. O:)

Depends on the mans face, any hair type can be sexy if you have the face to pull it off.

I agree about it being totally dependant on the face of the person. By example, take kevin sorbo, in hercules he had long hair and it looked great, then in andromeda he had shorter hair and he looked great. But his face is just not made for having bald or very short (no bangs :uhh: )hair it'd look horrible.

 

 

 

Then there's the factor of what you like or don't like. You might like someone's hair even if it's totally wrong for their face because you just like that kind of hair. That's why most people don't end up single, even with their horrible hair :P

Long hair is alot better, if you listen to rock and metal like me you can't headbang properly without it. When Metallica cut their hair people saw it like they were betraying their routes. Who looks better Angus Young or some Gangsta with a shaved head, no contest LONG HAIR FTW.

I'm not really a fan of short hair for myself. But I'm slowly getting used to the idea that it probably wont get much longer than it is right now for a long time.

 

 

 

 

 

That said... Mel pretty much nailed it. Enough of my friends have changed their hair often enough to be able to tell what works before for their face and their personality.

Personally, I can't stand growing my hair very long at all....I get my haircut every 8 weeks or so...

 

 

 

As for on other people, I think long hair looks good on some people, and bad on others. As long as you don't mess with it all the time. A kid in my grade has really long hair, and because he's touching it all the time, it's really greasy. Looks nasty.

Cop-out answer, but of course, it depends on the person. Some people naturally suit short hair, others long, others afro, others dreadlocks.

I used to have my hair down to my shoulders but only because my girlfriend at the time liked it, now my hair is short in back and long in front(Down to the tip of my nose if I pull it straight but it curls to the side enough that it just barely goes below my eyes(And, no I'm not "emo", I just like it this way)).

The barber I last went to, advised me not to cut my hair short, since it wouldn't look good on my head shape :|

Personally I can look good with long and short hair, well I'm not so sure about really long or super short, the thing is it has to cover my forhead, I have not a massive forhead but its maybe 2cm bigger than most peoples, which doesn't sound much but when my hair is too short it does look really stupid. At the moment I'm growing my hair, I'm trying to get it to sort of chin height, but a bit longer. My mom and dad hate it though because at the moment it's in no sort of style, just flat and fluffed a bit at the back. They want me to have a haircut but I won't get one = )
