This was done with Prismacolor pencils, and then I added the background with Corel Photo-Paint, preserving the original pencil strokes in the main subject as much as possible. Thanks to Tttia for teaching me how to use layers.

The background was done starting with a black fill, and then I added different shades of brown using the chalk tool to get kind of a textured effect.

Cute fluff balls are always nice to look at :wink:

I really like the way this came out. Getting a traditional feel for the bg in photopaint was a bit of a problem, but think it wound up pretty well.

Prismacolor pencils cost alot! :shock: At least $50 for 30 color pencils!

Have to pay for that display box too :wink:

I don't have that huge set of pencils. I have a smaller set of pencils that was given to me by my art professor when I graduated from college. Otherwise, I couldn't afford to buy them. :)
