i am pretty anoyied (sorry if i spell anything wrong im not awake yet lol :? ) but there are pet cats in rs but dont they say dog is mans best friend?

 

 

 

but as some people are thinking this why cant we do a quest to have a dog i love dogs but no offence to cat owners and lovers but i personally dont like cats post ur ideas to adapt it or support

I'm a fan of alpacas. I say we have them available too. I also would like to see a pet cougar in Runescape.

 

Runescape isn't about pets, Jagex will introduce whatever animals they want.

i have asked many people in game and they would like to see dogs as pets but they didnt want any more, anyway thanks for the post

I'd like to see dogs as pets, but pets are pretty useless in RS anyway. All cats do are annoy you as kittens and either get you 100 deaths or kill rats as adults.

 

 

 

And fish are bloody useless in RS and real life. We don't need pets, but if JaGeX insists we do, I think we do deserve dogs.

The pets we have now are pretty useless, I say if Jagex insists on putting pets into the game then give us a dog, dogs could do so much. I like the hunting dog idea, I don;t know what the OP's opposition to it was because I didn't understand what he said :? Plus they would look better, cats look pretty bad graphically.

Anyway cats are more suited to RuneScape, cats can look after themselves, have a small quest chain, and are better than damn dogs anyday.

maybe jagex could make the dogs sniff out things and u have to use your skills to catch it :thumbsup: sorted

Its not like shooting the animal through the brain which is a quick and semi-painless death, the deaths with dogs are often dragged out along like 5 minutes or something.

sorry but i am glad they brung in laws to stop hunting what i mean is like the cat does nothing and just folows u around but with better graphics and more options

We already have cats as pets which will do pretty much all a dog will do.

jagex could like the dog with POH by having say a wash basun (or how ever u spell it lol) kennel in the garden and u can wash it and u can buy say a ball for it to play fetch and jagex could even add a park for dog owners just an idea tho

Actually, when I suggested hunting with dogs (and I wasn't the first), I meant like you shoot a bird and the dog brings ot back, ferreting animals out of holes, stuff along those lines. And even IRL, when you hunt with dogs the game is not TORN apart, that would be a pointless waste of meat. Dogs are not big enough to take down a deer or something, they go after rabbits and such, which they can kill quickly with a quick nip to the head.

If you want a dog, just go to Varrock and adopt a stray...

i was being serious there could be kennels for players who no longer want their dog and people could adopt 1 for half the price

Where the hell are there any foxes in RuneScape? Or fox hunting? Geez, a dog chasing chinchompas into your boxes or something like that, not brutally ripping their hearts out and showing it up theirs.
