I think making an angel on a computer would be very, very difficult. Unless you have C4D, and then again that'll still be very tough. Guthix'll try to look for a render for this. Right guth? :P

not to be rude or nething. but, how can you call that your work. you took a C4d (made by someone els) a render (made by someone els) and added font, all on top of a black BG.

 

 

 

I think you should look into GIMP and then some tuts

As I said, I can't get the hang of GIMP at all! GIMP has all of these filters and options-not even the 50 tuts that I have read have helped me one bit! I am able to copy the tut, but once on my own I can't do a thing.

To be honest, I can't help but agree with Yaff. You have to make another background, another angel maybe. You can even change the transparency of the render. Just don't do quicky work like that, people wouldn't need graphic shops if that was what they wanted, they could just do it themselves. And try editing the fractals you use for backgrounds a bit more in PDN, like making many fractals and importing each on a new layer, then changing the blend modes (negation, difference). (Zim's sig you "pinkified")

Yeah, I'm like that too. But I see what people do and I try to reproduce it with the same program as guthix. I'm rather proud of what I managed to emulate in the last picture. My goal is to someday make graphics like woopidoo's or yours or all these awesome graphic makers, with Paint.NET.

PDN isnt capable of what Photoshop, and gimp can do, that i know of. but. then i dont know. im sure it can make some good work. but im not sure
