August 26, 200718 yr i was just wondering what are the chances of getting a slayer mask. i am just trying to see would it be worth trying to kill to get one or not.
August 26, 200718 yr I got 3 black masks from about 1.2k kills. The drop rate is good, you might hit 100k a hour if your lucky. It's the only time I made money from slayer other than clue scrolls. Good luck!
August 26, 200718 yr I was really lucky and I got a Black Mask on my first Cave Horror task. But on subsequent tasks (like 3 more tasks), I did not get another one. :( Just have to keep trying, they're less common than getting a rune med helmet from a Lesser, but not as rare as getting a dragon chain from Dust Devils. (Don't know if that makes sense. lol) Maybe about the same rate as getting a brine sabre from Brine Rats (if you're familiar with them), after killing 800 rats I've gotten 2 brine sabres. August 26, 200718 yr Author hmmm thx i got jungle horrors as a task (darn :'( ) but i decided to get a mask before i did them so i'm just gunna see how this goes i am willing to spend all day tomorrow if i have to but no longer then that.

August 26, 200718 yr Author i think i am at somewhere between 400-500 cave horrors now and still no luck i've almost gotten a full str lvl off them (76-77)
August 26, 200718 yr I've gotten 4 tasks of them of about 120-150 each, and so far have not gotten a single black mask. I have gotten a lot of snapdragon and rannar seeds, though. August 27, 200718 yr I guess I'm very lucky. I get at least one mask every assignment (150ish big). I got 4 masks in about 500 kills.
August 27, 200718 yr I think I must be pretty lucky too.. 2 masks in under 100 kills. Stick with it and I'm sure you'll get one soon :)
August 28, 200718 yr I knew you would sooner or later :P Like I said, just do another skill until you've built up the money to buy it straight. Think of the amount of time you've spent trying to get it, which could have efficiantly been spent on a money making skill which could have bought the mask in less than a quarter of that time.
