Tribal
Hello all, I got an Xbox 360 for Christmas and found recently that it won't work. I thought it was my TV, because it's old as balls, but it's not. I have hooked it up to 5 other TV's and it won't work, I get sound, but no picture. I am wondering if maybe it's my cables? I don't get any picture, I get sound, but I don't get the red 'lights of death' either. So any suggestions? Figured I'd post here before I call Bill Gates and tell him to give me a new one. WutangFlu
1-800-4my-xbox Im'a guess something with cables. REALLY make sure they're in tight, otherwise the system wont even boot.
TotalTalker
Maybe you didnt plug a cable into the back of the T.V? Go through the manual again, and if you still cant seem to solve it, then get in contact with the shop you bought it from.
underu2000
I doubt the problem is with the connection of the AV cable. If so, you'd get 4 red lights. But if not the connection, it may be the wire itself. Just call xbox support to be sure. PS: Change the title, it's not very precise. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either. Make sure the HD switch on the cable is on/off depending on what you're using. edit: ugh, sorry, I didn't see the post up ^ :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
limpbizkit
how are you connecting. Is it via the scart ending or the 3 wires? Tif 360 MGC Leaderboard
Tigra00
Make sure your cables are in really good. I plugged in all my cables and the plug-in to the back was just a TINY bit loose and it gave me the red lights of doom. I was like WTF? But I pushed it in and all was okay. :P Otherwise, ship it off and get a new one. You have 3 years...No rush! Rainy_Day
You should probably speak to Xbox support if it keeps playing up. May be that you just require a new cable. :? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)RIP Michaelangelopolous
Tribal
What kind of connection are you using? (component, AV, ect.) What kind of TV is it? I'm using the cables that came with it, so AV? Also, it's an older TV no HD or anything.
