August 29, 200718 yr Long shot, but anyone else, besides me, going to the RetroFest this weekend? :P Basically, it's a festival celebrating the decade of horrendous fashion, sciintillating synthisers and all round mega music! There's also a circus to learn tricks, a reflex 80s dance tent, and a place to deposit your clothes for some 80s pop star get up! Woop! Headlining this year are Human League, Bananarama, ABC, Tony Hadley, Kim Wilde, Belinda Carlisle, The Blockheads and many many more! It's gonna be an all out cheese fest, and if I don't come back, avenge my death! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

August 29, 200718 yr Ahhh, if you'd just posted this a week earlier I would have been able to go, I'm surprised I haven't heard about this before since it's not that far from me. Sounds like a laugh though, if I wasn't otherwise engaged I would gone. You have to love just how tasteless the 80's were :D . I love the 80's, my friends rip the piss out of me for it but I don't care :D 80s rock lacks depth IMO, but the pop and dance and anything synthesizer has such sonic texture. handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I was like "i'm going to need a few more paper towels than that luv"
