Evil Pig20
I have heard many people saying how you can assign a key to click., making alchemy easier. Does anyone know how to do this?
13_19_16
What you do is go to the control panel on the main menu and then select "Accessibility Options". This will open up a window; go to the mouse tab, click on the "Use Mousekeys" box, and hit ok. Once you've done this, whenever you have the numlock key active you can use the numberpad at the right of your keyboard to perform mouse functions; clicking is done by hitting 5. When you've got this set up, all you need to do is position your items and mouse correctly and hit 5 away; and don't forget that since the hotkeys update, you can hit F6 to return to the mage book without moving the mouse in case you mess up. May your alching experience be forever enriched by this knowledge :) .

nightshade53
Hold down the keys: SHIFT + ALT + NUM LOCK. This will activate someting called Mouse Keys. The number 5 on the numpad is then a click.

vleademir
what you do is set mouse keys as youve heard above, and then place the item you want to alch in the same position in your pack as the high alchemy spell in your spell book. this way the pointer can say in one spot and you just keep clicking '5'. Hope i helped.

Dragon_lord
I advise everyone NOT to use this method for High Alching. I know people who got accused of macroing because of it and got permanently banned! Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post.
13_19_16
Dragon_lord, that is incorrect. Members of the staff here at Tipit have confirmed that Jagex will not consider you a macro because of this - they need to let people use Mousekeys because of accessibility issues for some people. Anyways, there is no logical reason why they would anyhow - doing this is exactly the same speed as doing clicking with the mouse, it's just easier on your hands. hephaestos8
also alch by sound, it is a lot easier just to click as soon as you hear the third sound
meol
I advise everyone NOT to use this method for High Alching. I know people who got accused of macroing because of it and got permanently banned! Then people would be banned when alching from a laptop, it's ok to use it. If you still feel uncomfortable with it, randomly move the mouse a couple pixels every once in a while with the other numbers. This signature is intentionally left blank.
