Lacks shading, and if the moon is behind them, the shadow should be infront of them.

Needs:

Shading needs a lot of work.

Shadow is cast the wrong way.

More detail.

Stars need work.

It basically needs a lot of work, but hey its a first, and everyone has to start somewhere.

The tutorial you used isn't good. Find a better one, it's not that hard

TBH, and i mean honest, it sucks, im sorry,

what you have, takes no tallent

- no shading

- you didnt even really pixle, you used paint bucket

- really badly drawn

- no detail

i could keep going on, and i think you see all of this

Though, for a first, your off to the right start, as you prgress, so will your sigs, and i cant wait to see them, keep it up, and just work on it all alright?

You... you used a tutorial?

:wall:

I think I've seen that tutorial... Anyway, I don't think being nice is going to help. Your signature is pretty ugly. If you like doing it, though, don't give up. Just find some more guides, or take off on your own.

definately not a great tutorial to follow, I think you would progress much more if you just tried to create something 'you' want to draw. And if it is pixel-art you really want to follow, research some great examples and look for the techniques used to further your work. You can only take this one step at a time.

paint bucket is seen as a way to save time, it would be a nightmare hand placing each pixel if all you want to do is fill in the one area.

Try to focuss on use of colour with shading. Also, maybe try something more realistic than spiders on rocks (?).

Try some more in depth tutorials for Pixelling.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Spiders on a rock? Yea that would just be rediculous.. :?

I think your pixel is just as good as the tutorial you followed to make it, so I guess thats a compliment. Using what the person who made that tut said make something of your own. Don't be dishearted by some of the comments on here either, like I said, its just as good as the tut you followed - you hit the ceiling, as it were.

seriously though...it's really not that great, it needs shading, detail, and a lot more effort. Stick figures really aren't that spectacular
