To be honest I find it quite sad that people get so uptight over it, I mean it's a hand signal...it's like saying I can only stick my finger up at someone if they have first challeneged me to a duel, because thats when the hand gesture was first used. Times changed, get over it.

 

I do agree it looks pretty gay when people do it because they think it looks cool, popstars etc.

While I agree, it doesn't matter that much to me anymore. At concerts or shows, I don't really throw up the horns. Eh. Just not a big fan of it.

 

 

 

In school, people generally think of me as one of the metalheads of our grade... So it kinda sucks when another one is a total stereotype, and makes you look dumb. Like this one kid I know, who would walk around saying METTAAALLL in his stupid guttural-vocal-voice, throwing up the horns, and saying he's 'metal'.

I tend to avoid the horns... I figure I can be just as 'insane' or 'sick' without them. ;P

hahah tell me about it, there's one at my college. He says things like "metal? you're not metal, you dont even like metal, look at me, i wear a denim jacket and never wash or brush my hair, im metal, hwarrghh."

 

 

 

Then you find out he only likes iron maiden. cos other metal bands are obsolete. ;D
