Range from 72-80 F2P?

Where is the best place to train range from 72-80? So far ive been thinking hill giants (like 3k big bones, thats a lot of cash), Lessers, or guards near black knight fortress. If i use the 3rd choice ill just buy a bunch of bronze arrows. Or i could just use a combonation of the 3.

Bronze arrow a mere 7 coin each now so definitely go with those. Well as for where to range, if you want prayer I suggest moss giants on Crandor, ice giants in Port Sarim cave, or hills in Edgeville dungeon. If you do not need prayer exp, go with lessers. You will gather profit+fire runes+chaos runes (plenty of all of these)

Plus you may see me there hehe. ::'

If you do try guards tell me how it is. I have been contemplating whether or not to but a few thousand bolts and waste them on something, I mean they are so cheap...

I'd say do hob goblins as well. With bronze bolts in an hour, i lost nothing, the limps payed it all and got 16k exp half the time on accurate and the other half on rapid. So with bronze you will probably average 25k/h and lose a bit if you telegrab the limps, laws, nats, chaos and cosmics.

I Think mossy's either on crandor or Varrock sewers or lessers in karamja 2 best options

Lessers, and bronze arrows are 6 gp each!

Dont bother picking bronze arrows up, only pick up rune meds and fire runes and sell and it will cover all the arrows costs. (Keep fire runes)

Im not really looking for prayer exp, but 3k+ big bones at 400 each is too much to pass up. I think ill switch between lessers and hill giants, and maybe lava maze.

NJE, guards are VERY good exp. And that wouldnt be a bad idea to just use bronze bolts. Except c bow is slow <.<

Where is the best place to train range from 72-80?

That depends on what you mean when you say "best"

If you mean "drops big bones" then do HG, MG, or IG

If you mean "has good loot" then do MG, IG, or LD

If you mean "also drops lots of arrows" then do Minotaurs

If you mean "safely pick up arrows afterward" then do white knights

If you mean "don't pick up but has lots of monsters" then do Hobgoblins or Varrock sewer ladder-room zombies.

If you mean "in a multi-combat zone" then do Varrock sewers or White knights.

All of the above places, (and others), have advantages and disadvantages.

So, it all really depends on what matters most to you.

Also, it will take you about 14200 bronze arrows if you pick them up

or about 56800 if you don't.

Hope this helps

a couple months ago I went from 72-82 on 20k bronze. picking them up netted me a profit of 1,000,000+ at the lessers.

In other words those arrows cost 140,000 and paid for themselves at close to 9x what I originally paid for them.

Some of the best places to train from 72-80 range are the:

Whiteknights- using the tables - 12-13k an hour

Dark wizards in the wild- though not as safe as it use to be with the wilderness update

hobgoblins out by the crafting guild When I go there for cowhides I see rangers using telegrab in order to get all those goodies.

Bandit camp- assuming no one comes the entire time since it is multi-combat

hill giants- yeah they are okay but are highly crowded at almost all times

lesser demons- one of the best places to range in f2p and also gurantees you will make a profit for anything below steel arrows. they can also be the slowest place to train at times.

zombies in the stronghold of security- regularly drop steel arrows and can pretty much stay there forever as long as the walls are used

Minotaurs- like everyone else has said they drop iron arrows on a constant basis and since there are barricades all throughout the floor and can therefore can stay forever if nothing is picked up.

I hope this helps.

Ok guys, thanks to all. So far im thinking about switching between lava maze/crandor, and guards near black knight fortress. This way i can pay for any arrows i use and get good exp. If anyone ever wants to join me at lava maze just pm me in game. It gets pretty boring there :wall:
