March 31, 200521 yr I have a announcement to make.i have just been to the hospital and they said i have cancer........when they examined it a bit closer i said "can it be treated?" and they said "i'm so sorry..but it can't" so i asked when i was gonna die and they said 24th of June so looks like ill be dead before im even a teenager...all i can do is cry and if anyone thinks its a joke ill tell you this: "why would i joke about something so serious?"

March 31, 200521 yr There are no words that would make you feel safe, when someone is faced with death they usually aren't ready to grasp it. Medical advances will actually be able to treat the cancer, be positive, always be positive.

March 31, 200521 yr *looks at date, realises that for some it is april 1st* I was reluctant to post at first. Simply because we have had issues in the past where people have thought it funny to declare themselves terminally ill or that they have even died. Yes what a funny joke that was. It is obviously very serious to be given such a date. Even untreatable bowel cancer (one of the worst) usually gets you several months left in even weak patients. Doctors also cannot give you an exact date like that, they can only give an approxamation. Its not like they can take a look at a person and know the date they will pass away. This is very odd. Will doctors class it as a miricle if you are still alive on the 25th? To have such a short time span left you must be in serious pain? What kind of cancer is it? When was it detected? Edit: You say lunch cancer, and youve known for 2 months. Was lobectomy or a transplant not an option? It must have spread elsewhere for doctors to not be able to do anything. Do you know how big the cancer is or what cancer stage you have? :-/ Well if its true sorry for doubting you but get off the internet and spend time with your friends and family and make the most of it. I'd hope you're not joking because the last guy who did this got banned from tip.it. :P Sorry to hear about it though, go get a second opinion from Cancer Treatment Centers of America or something, they try to treat everything.
March 31, 200521 yr Wouldn't be April 1st when he posted it. Was posted like just after noon here in Aus time, and we are GMT +10. Only goes up to GMT 13+, so not possible for it to of been April 1st then. Now back on topic, very sad to hear that happening. Don't give up just yet though.

April 3, 200521 yr Ouch. Man this sucks for you. Do you know how you got it? It might be asbestos, depending on the year your house was built. Or maybe your school. If I were you, I would have your house, school, workplace, anywhere you frequently spend time checked for asbestos. If any of those places proves positive, you might be able to sue.
