My first Pure...

I'm making an f2p Str Pure.

I need some advise on: where to train, what items to use, how to get money for him, etc etc.

Also, would 40atk and 60str be good enough for PKing?

Barrow Drops: Guthan's Helm, Karil's Crossbow.

5 Pieces of the Crystal Key so far.

I would never consider meeting people irl. Not just because of risks that they could be a 40 year old man who is only interested in the bottom half of your body.

This is not Str pure if attack or other skills except str are highter then 1lvl

Is Just regular melee pure i think

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.

40 att and 60 str are ok there are hundreds of pures with 40 att and 60 - 75 str so you wont be alone.

Give him money from ur main.....

And train on monks at the start until lyk 40 in each or so and then maybe barbarians using trout.

I prefer the no worries rune scim hitting fairly high with 60 - 70 str and str pot, rather than the range + 2h but its what you want to be and what you like.

99 Strength Achieved 26/9/08. L0L in 3 years I've made 7m. In the past 2 days I've made 7.2m on top of that thanks to Bounty Hunter. So why play for 3 years when you can do that?

or don't :notalk:

As italian suggested, i'd go for a range/2h combo. they're way more effective.

A workable STR pure in F2P needs 40 attack to wield a rune weapon (in members, a 50+ STR Mauler is possible).

From complete scratch, I would start with 3 strength from the tutorial rat cage, 3 ranged and 3 magic (drop & get 5-6 sets of runes before casting), then train to 8 attack on the dummies - that gives you a 10HP raw pure, with no HP gained - that will convert into whichever pure you want, as the combat level in the final combat trained skill will not be altered by the no-HP trainings.

A bit of cooks assistant, and some intensive shrimp fish and cook (to 15 and then bait/sea or to 20 and then fly/river for trout) takes care of training food requirements.

Doric's quest and Knights Sword, with some mine & smith, takes care of making/replacing the obligatory Iron armour.

An eye on Vampire slayer, for some extra attack, but that comes later. If you just completed the dummies, you can wield a Steel weapon and are on the way to Black.

You may also want to train ranged, to 20 for studded chaps (better than Iron legs) or to 40 for dragonhide chaps & vambs, or consider converting to a range/R2H hybrid - alternatively, if you favour the lower loss factor of full self smithed Iron, then skip ranged.

For cash, either let it trickle in from drops (coins, any drops with non-zero store value), skill and sell to stores, or skill and trade to players (generally most profitable, but oftem means losing some possible skill XP - eg. selling bars).
