October 13, 200718 yr Hello, I just got assigned a task of killing 125 Pyrefiends. I've given them a shot but they consistently hit 3s/4s and it's difficult to get very many kiols before having to leave. Could anybody give me some advice on how to fight them without getting this badly damaged?

(I'm a bit of a forum noob :P) If you find a Slayer task to be hard or a waste of time/money, you go to the Burthorpe Slayer master who reassigns you to a much easier assignment that should be completed within 10 minutes. Then, you would go back to your regular Slayer master and hope for a better task. :mrgreen:
October 13, 200718 yr Burthorpe. :P I would like to get the most difficult 99 in the game to accomplish. which is woodcutting. because I had a drunken night in philadelphia and sprayed a fire extinguiser, evacuated a 7 story hotel on the philly stadium, spent the night in jail.. then got on level 2 prob & have to pay 50 a month because I have a job. It's their way of collecting more money out of me.

October 13, 200718 yr Author Yes he usually gives you a noob task like goblins but sometimes some tasks are untradable. Yeah, I learnt that with cave crawlers. Lumbridge caves was too dark and my computer screen was extremely dark (even on 100 brightness/contrast) so I couldn't do it. Then I found out about the slayer caves near Relekka and it was fine :P
October 13, 200718 yr For cave crawlers, just bring antipoison and some food and you'll be fine if you need help with that one :).
October 14, 200718 yr Just curious, is are there any really good tasks that give really good exp? Plenty. Dagganoths, Kalphites, hellhounds... I really like harpie bug swarms and lesser demons... I'd suggest that you use Vannaka as your Master. I use him, and I'm about your level - 4/5 times my tasks are enjoyable and good experience + drops. Sig credit goes to ThruItAll. :D
