Take it in the perspective of the victim: You're walking... walking... suddenly a man jumps out of an alley, coaxes you by knife at the throat into the alley, and gives you the message that will persuade anyone: "Your money or your life!"

 

 

 

The Assassination Sub-Skill!!!

 

 

 

Assassination would be an extremely powerful subskill, under Theiving, Agility, Slayer, Hunter, Strength, and Combat. It would be used to coax people out of their pockets... or their lives. :shock:

 

 

 

You the player would be able to grab an opponent, and quickly make the choice to kill or mug, almost like the blackjack method, only more diverse and involved. You can end an NPC's life instantaneously, or take their items and leave them for dead. :-$

 

 

 

-The victim must be at least 50 levels under your combat level. tHis does seem like much, but having a level 126 slaughtering level 90s... chaos training.

 

-You must have a dagger equipped to assassinate an NPC

 

-You need to meet the requirements under slayer, theiving, agility, strength, hunter, and combat.

 

-You will not recieve exp!!!

 

- When you meet stat requirements, the creatures you can kill will be in groups (example- levels10-20, 21-30,31-40 etc)

 

-Mugging will result as stealing from the NPC, then attacking it, stunning it.

 

-You cannot assassinate other players, or boss monsters.

 

-There Is a fifteen seconds period before you can assassinate again if you are succesful.

 

-The higher the dagger metal, the better chance for success. Poison makes no difference.

EXAMPLE 1: SUCCESS!

 

You see a man, perfectly exposed and unknowing to your plans. You right-click on him with your trusty dagger equipped, and a window appears in the chatbox simply asking, "Kill, or Mug?"

 

Kill.

 

You get close to him, press the dagger to his throat, take him back a few steps, and make the kill. You get no experiance in any skills, but you do get the drops involved. There is a fifteen seconds period before you can kill again with this method, however.

EXAMPLE 2: FAILURE...

 

You wait your 15 seconds, you see another man... Perfect! You Right-Click and open the chatbox options. Kill!

 

You Press the dagger to his throat, but he yells for help! You need to escape! You pull the dagger away, and the man hits you for a set amount HIGHER THAN THEIVING HITS. You do not need have a fifteen seconds grace between failures.

If you become a really high lvl player-you would be able to train 1 lvl an hour at lvl 90, become extremely rich, and use pretty much no food at all. Maybe you can only do this once every 15 minutes, only to an NPC, and not to a quest monster.

A out of wildy massacre? I just don't see it. But you could add a hunter requirement for the stalking of the victim before the actual assaination

that's a good idea, Maybe I should include how long one kill would take, because you all seem to think that you could kill a lot of creatures extremely quickly.

You have to understand that Jagex caters to the younger audience, and this suggestion is much too violent. Especially the parts were you sneak up and press a knife to a victim's throat? :?

 

It seems oddly dull though, with the same elements as slayer except you have to confirm if you want to kill or not.

You could rob others of training NPCs. Kill a whole bunch of bandits so no one there can train...

 

 

 

What about NPCs who don't drop anything?

 

 

 

Or non-human ones? Be a bit odd if you assiassinate a rat....

hmmm. seems like a good idea but it need some work. 50 lvls? are you serious? maybe 10 or 20. other than that though, sweet =D>

I believe 50 levels is a good margin. Having the master theif etc, killing NPC's in the hundreds! That would be a bit cheap, no?

sry mate this just wont work.Im not gonna put u down with everything i see wrong in this but i will say one thing.U cant really sneak up on people in rs,they see u a good bit away nd it is a bit violent for the younger generation,keep trying.
