October 29, 200718 yr Simple question: In your farming experience, how often do your rannar herbs (I'm asking ONLY for rannar herbs as I'm only bothering with these :P) die per farming run (5 patches in total)? E.g. 1 death every 4 farming runs, 1 death every 2 runs, etc. Just wondering this so I could calculate profit per hour (it takes about 5 minutes for me to do a run -.-) and whether it would compare to the profit that I already get using runecrafting. Thanks!
October 29, 200718 yr I think rate is something like 20% but i am not sure I Use herb patch in troll stronhold in this patch not die herbs ;) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
October 29, 200718 yr for expensive seeds such as ranarr/snapdragon, i always use the "my arm" patch...it is better to be absolutely safe that your herbs do not get diseased. maybe its jus me but somehow i feel that the crop yield from "my arm" plot seems to have a lower average yield than that of other herb plots... :S maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
October 29, 200718 yr if the yield is lower, then another solution is to bind the amulet of nature to an herb patch. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! (give my guide a read :^_^: )
October 29, 200718 yr if the yield is lower, then another solution is to bind the amulet of nature to an herb patch. For me this amulet is another space of bank :) i keep not having it :) Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
October 29, 200718 yr I get about 1 in 12 dieing at level 86 farming. I'm not sure if farm level affects rate of death, but hey. Don't follow me. You might not make it.All your accounts are belong to us now.If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator
October 29, 200718 yr i only plant in the 4 normal allotment patches, but my normal death rate is about 1 in 10 seeds dying at 78 farm.
October 29, 200718 yr on my other account ( before it was banned =\ ) i was getting mabe 1 herb plant dieing in 5 runs at lvl 50 farming, using super compost they pretty much don't die ~ I farm, there for you eat ~ Got food? Thank a Farmer [98% of Tip-It's Community has a signature. If you are one of the 2% that doesn't, put this in your... aww crap...]
October 29, 200718 yr I'd recomend only planting rannars at the troll farm patch to avoid loss, plant something cheaper like kwuarms or cads at the other patches. :P
October 30, 200718 yr I get about 1 in 12 dieing at level 86 farming. I'm not sure if farm level affects rate of death, but hey. Farm lvl unfornately doesn't affect rate of getting diseased. I believe ranarrs have relatively higher rate of getting diseased than other mid-lvl herbs (toadflax - torstol). Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

I believe ranarrs have relatively higher rate of getting diseased than other mid-lvl herbs (toadflax - torstol). Interestingly enough however, Jagex have personally confirmed that the higher your farming the level the higher the chance that you would harvest more crops from your plants. :-k One patch dies in like every three runs for me (38 farming ). However, this may be swayed by the fact I've only done about maybe twelve runs..
October 30, 200718 yr the chances of rannar seeds/herbs dying increased? You are not alone, Our Father, God will always be with you.
