November 2, 200718 yr Never, ever Burthorpe Hellhounds. They are nice xp with no danger at all since they can be safely ranged or hallied and they are good droppers of lvl 3 clue scrolls.

November 3, 200718 yr Unless you are safespot ranging them, they are a waste of time and food. Sure they drop scrolls, but I found the drop rate poor, plus they can hit pretty hard if your def is under 70. Add to that their only drop other then clues is bones, I would say skip it.

Add to that their only drop other then clues is bones, I would say skip it. ^^ I Disagree. Hellhound tasks are good either ranging or meleeing. I love using my guthans at hellhounds. Then going and using my C-bow to range them from a safespot. They are a great task, just set up, range them and kick back and watch some TV. Apparently, my signature was to big.
November 3, 200718 yr Well ultimatballr, you do have 99 defense and if you're using guthans or a similar armor, they aren't going to hit you as hard. For lower level players they shouldn't try to directly range them without safespotting. But as for mathgenius50, you should fine but safespotting is always great =D. No food.
