Report Abuse Slip-up?

In the KB article for the new Assist System you will find an example of the new options when you click on another player. For some reason the option to "report abuse" is available. I'm wondering if this is a hint that Jagex was talking about in the November BTS or just a simple mistake. Feel free to speculate and discuss.

I've killed over 20,000 dust devils while training to 99 attack and have still not gotten a dragon chain.

Moderators have that option and i guess at the time it was just easier for them to take the picture on a moderator account.

Yes, seeing as the Knowledge Base is written by Jagex moderators they obviously use their JMod accounts to get the screenshots which will include the Report Abuse option because Player Moderators and Jagex Moderators get that option.

Yeah when I saw that I got all excited and thought maybe they gave it to normal players... nope <.< (WHY NOT, JAGEX?!)

Because it would be heavily, heavily abused.

Because many people are too lazy to type in the name into our current Report Abuse but with a right click option, many more people will be reporting.

All that option does is open the Report Abuse screen with the name already filled in. Just a bit timesaving. They wouldn't remove the 60 second limit for all players. That's for Player Moderators/Jagex Moderators only.

Yeah, and they can still only report 1 every 60 seconds. And just because it saves a little time dosen't mean more people will be willing to risk getting banned to abuse it... also people who start level 3s throwaway accounts aren't usually too lazy to abuse the current system.

they should make a report group... so you can report every macroer at the tree at once :)

OMG OMG SAILING IS COMING LOLOLOLOL!!!1111 b/c JAGEX GAMES STUDIO , ANAGRAM OF SAITO JUDGE X-GAMES

I don't think most players realize you can get banned for report abuse or don't believe it. So nothing really stops them from just reporting every person they can right click.

I suppose they really have no reason to but I'm assuming the worst, and sometimes the worst happens in Runescape.

It says right on the report abuse form "If you misuse this form, you will be banned". So anyone who is unaware of it is just ignorant and deserves the ban =;
