Price of Bandos Godsword in a Month?

Featured Replies

But maybe he wants to have a saradomin sword to have a good weapon, and to spend the other millions on skills.

It's possible that I misunderstood, but I read his/her comments as saying he/she would prefer a sara sword over a sara GS straight up. I've certainly heard other people say this.

Anyway, I don't care what people want to use, but so many of the opinions tossed around about high-end items are from people who have never used them and just don't know what they can do. For example, I've seen comments like "the sara GS is the worst one for dueling", which is pretty funny to anyone who has used one in a no-food spec-on duel and seen the reaction of his or her opponent. ;)

Hmm, well that explains it.

And I would want to see someones face when I sara spec them. Unfortunally, Im too poor.

And the saradomin sword is ownage. In my opinion looks better then a whip and can train strength, although its 2-handed. I wouldnt mind laying down 26m for one.

Whip + DFS > Sara Sword, hands down. Oh, and you have at least 1m left over if you go with the dfs/whip combo, too.

What exactly is so "ownage" about the Saradomin (non-GS) Sword?

It looks to me like the single most overrated piece of equipment to come out of the GWD.

Well, it's arguably the best weapon for strength training... But it is only marginally better than the D scimitar, and it costs about 2600x more.

with all the talk over which sword is better, almost hard to remember what the topic is really about anymore

Anyways, i believe the price will go down, its an item that people are constantly trying to get. I would advise if you feel your playing an unhealthy amount of rs, calm it down. Its a game, and by playing less shouldn't have a huge affect on the prices one way or another.

yes str training is what i think. ive never used 1, but i feel stupid when i use my scimitar to get some str exp.

fact is, not every1 likes to dharok and now a new str training whip without shield is introduced.

The prices of the godswords seem to ebb and flow, but the Bandos has been roughly in the 50 mil range since about two weeks after the GWD came out. The only reason I can see it fluctuating greatly is if the Grand Exchange causes a big move in prices; there could be some instability in the markets when it comes out.

As for the godsword versus whip question -- it really depends on what you like to do. In some cases the godsword is better, and in some the whip is better.

For most routine PvM activities, the Bandos GS won't be really any better than the whip, because its special is not particularly useful. For some monsters, like the giant mole, the Bandos GS is MUCH better than the whip.

For PvP, the Bandos GS is usually better than the whip. If you get a good spec on someone with it that can virtually end a duel.

Incidentally, anyone who thinks the whip is flatly better than the godsword hasn't tried the Sara godsword. For PvM, slayer and so forth, the Sara GS kicks the whip's butt into next week.

If you want to read a whole ton of stuff on the godswords, my report on them is here.

I tried all four a few days after they came out and to be completely honest my favorites were bandos and sara, for some reason ags didnt stick to me that well because at the time i was still doing slayer and for some reason even with black mask on i hit alot of zeros alot more than with bgs or sgs and to me for the price ags was when i bought it it didnt seem worth keeping altho i regret not keeping it now with the current price i couldve made an easy 50m+ because i bought it for 100m lol

522 to 99 slayer
