Hello everyone, i have recently discovered a nice way of obtaining fast, cheap, and easy cooking exp. All you need is some spare cash, and a minimum of 15 Cooking.

 

 

 

Pros:

 

Fast, easy Cooking Exp.

 

Fireplace in store.

 

Shopkeeper right there to trade with.

 

Close to bank.

 

Trout are not burnt easily!

 

 

 

Cons:

 

Some money spent.

 

Competition.

 

Some might not want to bank all trout.

 

 

 

The Idea:

 

In most F2P worlds there are many fly fishers located in lumby. Also in lumby is a close general store, once they catch their fish they simply walk over and sell them. Each world is loaded with 1k+ Trout at least.

 

 

 

[hide=Method]Start out by withdrawing cash. The higher cooking lvl you wat, the more cash you need. But not much cash is needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Home tele or walk to lumby. Once in lumby, head over to the general store.

 

 

 

 

 

 

From here buy as many trout as you can hold in your inventory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Use your fish on the fireplace in the general store.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once all fish are cooked, you have two options. Sell what you cooked back to the store for 2 gp or bank. Repeat as needed.

[hide=Worlds]Most F2P worlds keep a lot of trout in stock. If you happen to come across a world without fish, world hop to another F2P world. You will find a world with at least 500+ trout within 2-3 hops most of the time.

1k Fish at lvl 15 - lvl 46 and 4k spent.

 

2k Fish at lvl 15 - lvl 53 and 8k spent

 

5k Fish at lvl 15 - lvl 62 20k spent

 

10k Fish at lvl 15 - lvl 69 40k spent

 

 

 

lvl 70 - 99 - Will only cost 700k (702,676), with lobs it would cost around 23M.

This is hardly a guide and is really just a tip. We need to be more specific on what qualifies as a guide down here.

 

 

 

But to rate the guide: Sure, it might give a considerable amount of xp for a low cost but it relies on luck. You don't mention to go on the busiest worlds for the highest chance of success and is really "Buy these items from general store, cook, sell back" and doesn't involve any skill.

Q. What lvl do you stop burning trout?

I find a mistake in this guide:

 

In general store you have fireplace, so you dont have to light fire every time.

THere's another huge mistake. Just like in your store picture, there are rarely any raw fish in the general store. I know this because i fm using the willow way at the general store and i rarely see any fish in the store. People do not sell their raws to the general store. Even if they did, youd be doing a lot of hopping and wasting time.

 

Very very bad method.

Didnt know about the fireplace method, thanks. And as stated before, i will check what worlds are best for this. Even if there are only say 3 worlds with this thats 9K trout and that is a lot of xp.

Odd, since in burining 10k willows though the genral store, I saw not one fish.

Dont flame, this is intended on helping you not giving you something to flame at. But yea, ive only seen this in a few worlds, 13 was the first i saw it in. Ill keep researching and if you try this and dont find fish just let me know wat world it was.

Added, and changed some stuff on guide. Fixed the tinderbox and talked about fireplace.

It would help if you stated how much saw trout/salmon costed, and how much you can sell the cooks back to the store for. We are obviously losing money, and no one wants to go there to find out they are losing a considerable amount.

I will check this out. The trout cost 6-8 each. But not how much they sell for. I went form 63-67 on 15K.

Its a good guide... that is, if your poor.

 

 

 

I'm personally not going to use it, but very nice guide indeed... very helpful toward lower levels :D

Yes. For an some strange reason you didn't put how much the raw trout will sell for in super bulk and how much the cooked trout sells back in bulks after 30+fish.

Just wanted to say thanks! first world i logged in had roughly 500 trout, 300 pike and 300 salmon.

Im buying trout for 6 ea and selling for 2 ea. Those are in bulk.

It works extremely well guys, but it relies on luck of the draw. Therefore, this can't really be a guide, since fish aren't always there.

Thanks ^_^. So far i have found a world every time i try looking. This dont mean on the first try but eventually i find one. But yea, not 100% of the time will your world be the one with fish. Keep trying till you get some though! =]]

Im at 43 fishig and 44 cooking writing this on my pure, and i burn 1 trout every secound inventory so i guess u stop burning trouts at 45-46 cooking
