Alina
Well, Since I've been on tip.it I've noticed that it's quite hard going to the Forum tip.it Index at the bottom of the page to find online players. I have a suggestion to add a feature, so when you post it shows if you're online or not. This idea should help many players. Through all of the 100's of players who are online, who'd want to look through them all to see who's online? I'm fine with the way it is now, but if this could be an addition It would be fantastic! ~Alina ~Tip.It's #1 Party Girl & Events Team Supporter~Next TET Event: A Holy Pilgrimage!Next TET AU Event: Zamorak Strikes Back Part 1!PM me if you need any help with an event. InkofDeath
As in add another line or option to the side menu where your avatar is? Online: Yes, for example would be under the 'Location:'? Hopefully that's something what you meant as you didn't specify much more than just to add an online object. Anyways, I'd like it, but for the most part, without having it, it stops some people from knowing your online unless they look at the bottom table with online users. I'm in favour of this suggestion though. Also, if this suggestion is to be coded, the option to allow this suggestion to see if your online, or not, should be a box in the profile to select 'yes', or 'no', and then would cancel the application to see if your online. Alina
Yes Excactly. Where the options are when you post that say "Website", "PM", "AIM", and others It could be an option there. And in the profile part of the website you can set it on/off if you want to be hidden or not. ~Alina ~Tip.It's #1 Party Girl & Events Team Supporter~Next TET Event: A Holy Pilgrimage!Next TET AU Event: Zamorak Strikes Back Part 1!PM me if you need any help with an event. Cruiser
PhpBB3 already has this built in with an 'online'/'offline' tag under your avatar and it'll most likely be available once Tip.It makes the transition (whenever that is).
mchainmail
until then, you can go to the main page and hit [ctrl]-[f] and type in their name. If it is on that page, their name would be highlighted.

They'll probably be stable by then. :P BTW, it appears that http://forums.xkcd.com/ has already upgraded to phpBB3. (Note: I don't actually use their forum, it is just that I noticed they upgraded already! Just giving an example!) ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... And talks in 3rd person for the timebeing due to how insane they are... Cruiser
When will that happen? When pigs fly? 1) It's currently in RC 7. The latest round fixed multiple XSS bugs and several other minor bugs, which most definately brings it closer to a releasable product. It will be released and we'll have to make a pig fly just to make you look like a fool when it is. 2) Aaron is correct. It's been said many times Tip.It WILL be moving to PhpBB3 once it's released. Reimplementing a feature in version 2 when it's something trivial like this is a complete waste of time regardless of release date.
