F2p: Would you mind if they had all basic potions?

Does anyone else think that blue dragon hide should be made available to f2p, along with the basic potions? I mean, no supers or anything but standard potions like attack defense strength. Possibility of opening up the draynor dungeoun wild to f2p as well? Just a thought.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And yes, I'm a member, and I think that this is table scraps compared to what we have now. Basically open up low level herblaw, draynor dungeoun, and blue dragon dungeoun (for those that can craft blue dragonhide). I mean green is nice and all but blue is better.

I've been saying this since members was out for about a year because of all the updates that members recieved in that time periord. I think that they should open up edgevill wilderness as well, to a certain extent anyways.

and yes i think the wildy in draynor should be made f2p just so long as they dont get to close the the member creatures. but i also think they should have a ladder leading up to the top level wilderness as well.

i cant believe how many memebers think they are better than people who dont pay. maybe its because they arent as addicted to pay for a game or maybe they just dont like the game that much. And yes i am ragging on u members but its your own fault. u act so high and mighty compared to f2p because you have nothing else to do with your money. Alright. Basicly, if we had defence potions and attack potions, it would be to crazy the first couple of weeks. Newbs would sell for outstanding high prices. 100k at most for a simple potion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also!! (yes there is an also, although it doesnt need it) Free people need a members item to CREATE them. BAD IDEA! Changing around the requirmenets just to suit people who dont even pay for it. woo smart idea isnt that =p

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) Armor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm, not much to say here other than archers dont need it. They alrady have green. Anyhow we dont pay for it. And also people would sell for amazingly high prices untill every1 figured out how to get it. Anyhow if anything, mages should get something. They have not had a free update in forever. Maybe adding mage armor that needs like 50 mage or sumthing for both free and members would be the best thing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) Wildy (only good idea)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well, seeing how people on free ALWAYS pk, then i dont see why not to add this. First it would open up new training spots which i know every1 would love. And also it would be a good place to pk. (though it should only be single in training area's or sumthing.

i've been a member for 3 monthes before so i know what its like, its awesome, so if you want something you'll have to work for it, no hard feelings to f2p'ers but they seem to whine more frequently about everything

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

don't give them member skills they were created to encourage people to pay a few dollars to enjoy a simple pleasure and have fun, if they're too lazy to earn a few dollars to play a game, its their fault not jagex's! Also it would probably discourage people to pay for members, if we gave in to them, like all other kids if you give them what they want they will ask for more!

whoah, somebody pinch me because i think im in oz. aceape, your scaring me. first you are against pots and armor for the only reason that high lvls would rip off low lvls, how is this different from now. and plus, jagex would have a big anouncement telling about it. but crafting green dragonhide is p2p only i thought. and for the wild, i agree, but lets add more to the wild for p2p to let them have their space. i think that the runescape world should start to get spherical and the wild could then go down from the current lvl its on, so instead of 55 then 56, itd be 53->54->55->54->53

Does anyone even use the basic potions on p2p? With supers out I don't think many use the basic ones, except to make them for herblore xp and then most likely empty the vials to reuse for other pots.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm a member and wouldn't mind if free could use the basic potions, perhaps then they would be of some use instead of wasting them.

Then what? Give them herblore so they can make the potions? If they get the potions, it will slowly begin becoming like P2P. F2P just got the addy arrows and maple bows. If the fighters get more potins, that will make the pking triangle un-even again. :evil:

Absolutely NO low level herblaw on f2p. Period. This will just make herbs and second ingredients even more expensive than they already are. Let them have the regular pots but not herblaw itself.

I'm a f2p player myself so keep that in mind, I personally think the potions wouldn't be a bad idea as long as we can't make it since Herblore is a members skill. Blue dragonhide would be nice but it's just plain greedy, we just received a perfectly good ranging update. Of course I'm grateful for the updates thus far :)

in response to the post that no p2p'ers use the low lvl pots...i use them all hte time. they are great for training because they are inexpinsive and help alot. and i still sometimes use them just to walk around wit in the wildy. i keep myself a couple lvls above my real lvl all the time. when i need it..i super pot.

With potions, sure. Members don't really use attack potions or anything, maybe make em tradable (not makable) to f2p. But blue dragonhide armor, definitely a no. They just got addy arrows, and with any higher of an attack bonus, they'll own the wild and the f2p triangle will get messed up.

Either make the edgeville wilderness open. (just noticed we wre talking about the draynor wildy, but ive never heard or seen that, or it sjust new and i havnt read the report about it) and add a ladder leading up to the main wildy.
