F2p: Would you mind if they had all basic potions?

Just to clear this up, for anyone that hasn't been playing runescape a long time, STR potions arent a taste of herblore for f2p. Strength potions have been around since the beginning almost and have always been used, its not like Jagex is giving them a taste, they are keeping to the original plan.

NO , unless they change the herb needed for defence potions , rannarrs are already rediculousy expensive as it is.

I would not mind f2p has the basic potions, but certainly not the ability to make them!

Potions: Useable, sure. I probably wouldn't use them as I don't pk, but I can see the advantage. Makeable, no way. That's all we need is another skill for f2p noobs to scam lvl-3's with.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Armor: Blue dragon, no. Rangers have enough new stuff. MAge armor, YES!!! This is essential for magers, especially considering the new Ranger equipment updates. As for new spells, probably not unless they were more defensive spells like binding or stat-affecting spells.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wild dungeon: Ehh, maybe, but Jagex might have to change too much around just to keep f2pers from getting p2p monsters...or they might have to make the monsters f2p. My thinking is it might be better to release a new wild dungeon with only f2p monsters in it. But that's just me.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

More land: Oh, don't I wish, but it most likely would never happen. f2p worlds are too small to hold so many people and it can feel very claustrophobic at times, but I don't see Jagex opening anything new for us anytime soon. Morytania is too new for f2p and Catherby is too useful. Same goes for the desert south of Al Kharid, which is just about the only places they could open to f2p other than maybe the KAramja jungle, but that's too out-of-the-way to make the f2p noobs happy.

since i came back 2 weeks ago i have been suprised that jagex have given the trees and rune crafting and other things to f2p.

If f2p were to recieve the blessing of potions, I for one, would NEVER EVER!!!! wanna have the ability to make them. Let's just say, runecrafting anyone?? Skills with the ability to only make the low level items are worthless, we dont need them, just let us buy off of members for exponentially high prices and its all good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also we don't need blue dragonhide armour, we have green dragonhide, we don't need anything new for the rangers. I prefer ranging myself, but I agree with the 90% of the people in this post, its being greedy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And with the new wildy dungeon thing, it would be presumptious to think it would happen, but if it did happen, I wouldnt mind a few higher level monsters down there to train on, maybe even create a bit of competition for the training spot if its made to be worthwile

Attack pots, defence pots, energy pots, and restore pots would be good if they were for f2p. I have 100's of these sitting in my bank which are totally useless anyway.

im 100% f2p ind im border line with this suggestion. blue dhide would over power the rangers and their annoying pures. assorted basic pots would over powered melee, and very annoying trips to apothecary (a quet is required for herblore skill, and technically f2p can't get any new quests because it would upset d slayer). however, i love all ideas that improve my life as a freeworlder :thumbsup:

I think they should have attack and defence pot. It might help f2p out a little, also f2p wars would be ever quite interesting how a few pots might change the outcome. They could have other stuff like craftable vamps and chaps (not bodies because uhh something). No they shouldn't get green dragons but they could buy hides off members.

Rpg, blue dhide would barely effect pures. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't change their max hit, just make them hit a little more often.

Being F2P, of course I wouldn't mind if we had all of that stuff. Do we need it? Not so much. All we really need is decent Magic robes and Bank space.

No, it will start with potions, then move on to dragons, then it would be "we want poison!" or "we want dragon axes!" You give them an inch, they want a mile. We give them nothing, maybe another update like the SoS in barb village, maybe like a new little palace and a quest to go with.
