  1. Heh don't listen to the 90+ slayers saying the bow is "the best bow out there". Its really slow and the chances of actually hitting 2 decent numbers is terrible. I played 3 games of castle wars with it and went and sold it. I mean sure you CAN hit 40+ in one shot, but its painfully slow and doesn't happen very often at all.
  2. I really don't think the series will end with just 4 quests. The Sanguinesti region is huge and theres a ton of land that we haven't seen yet. Meiyerditch is only one part of Sanguinesti, and I'm sure theirs at least one more ghetto plus whatever else is even further east. There is that castle-like building that you can see only half of on the eastern bit of Meiyerditch and theres supposed to be a huge underground refinery/city too. So yeah I expect at least a 5th maybe even a 6th quest in the series.

  4. I don't see why you would want to waste bank space with the x-mas hats..just destory them and you can get em back from Diango whenever you want+you get more bank space
  5. Ok in WoW the game isn't up to luck once you reach max level like RS is. Their is gear that only max level players can use. Then their is gear even better then that. Then even better then that! Its not like in RS where a 126 is using the same gear as pretty much everyone over 70 combat. Once you max something out in RS you hit a brick wall. You have no way to advance farther. If your a meleer with 99 99 99 stats and you fight another meleer with 99 99 99 stats the only factor in the fight would be luck. Now how is that fun? The only way to fix that would be to, 1. Increase the level cap, or 2. Add tons of rare, high level gear for maxed players like WoW has. Personally I would prefer option 2 cause training is hella boring ; )
  6. DPS(Damage per second) is the best way to compare weapons
  7. Melee damage is based on your strength level(and gear), not your combat level and if your pure or not.
  8. Why would anyone want to have a drop party at party pete's? You always get a bunch of random people tagging along. Alot of them just beg for stuff and they end up taking the drops meant for your friends.
  9. Addy and Rune dragons would be pretty tough, mith not so much but still a challenge.
  10. Jagex have become really unprofessional with their updates lately(compared to pretty much any other MMORPG). Like 4 Melee Barrow sets compared to 1 range and 1 mage? Yea thats real balanced. Just more and more little reasons to drift farther and farther away from RS...
  11. Anyone else notice that they took the Dragon Pick-axe off the highscores? Looks like that will be the next drag weapon...

  14. I expect it to be something useless like a dragon smithing hammer that doesn't smith any better then a regular hammer but costs 3532532 million anyway
  15. Range and Mage would have to be split up into 2 sub-skills(ie range power+range accuracy or mage power+mage accuracy) to make it fair.
  16. I listen to my own music, mostly metal. Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Iron Maiden, Luca Turilli, Megadeth, Metallica, Pantera, Rhapsody, and Slayer to name a few.
  17. I found range worked well on the visability ring guy. With around 90 ranged I was able to kill both forms before a lvl 112 was able to get the first form down to half hp.
  18. ... Verac's set does not negate Prayer as it does armor. For the last time: if you can hit 31 on an individual who is not praying, then you can hit 31 on him or her while they are praying. I have 86 strength at the moment. I can hit 22-23s natural with a Whip. Therefore, when I duel (no prayer, no potions), I have the capability to hit anywhere from 0 to 23. If my opponent starts to pray, I still can hit anywhere from 0-23, only, the fact that he's praying makes it so that I cannot hit on him as often as I could before. The fact that people have hit high while wearing Full Verac only means that they got lucky when their opponent was praying. It does not mean anything else. Protection prayers merely lower the chance of you hitting your opponent. They have no effect whatsoever on the damage that can be inflicted. ... No you can't, prayer reduces damage by around 40% and reduces your chance to hit by around 50%. Go castle pking, where everyone prays 1 on 1, and you'll see that prayer does reduce damage done.
  19. yet mages still seem to be overpowered... and I agree with one part of that, rangers need an update, perhaps a spirit shortbow from the new spirit trees? Well that depends on how you think the triangle should work. Currently mages can beat warriors 99% of the time with ancient magics. Warriors can beat rangers 80% with whip. And rangers with 99% against mages. Either way it should be balanced to where they all have 80% chance of winning or they all have 99% of winning. Rangers shouldn't have a greater chance of winning against warriors, then warriors have against mages. Thats where I see the imbalance in the triangle.
  20. Melee have already gotten 4x the updates that mages and rangers have :?
  21. Rs is too solo based right now, party system needs to be introduced along with new boss monsters that take quite a few people to kill. More monsters like the kbd and kq and lesser ones too to accomodate low lvls.
  22. Attack pots, defence pots, energy pots, and restore pots would be good if they were for f2p. I have 100's of these sitting in my bank which are totally useless anyway. As long f2pers can make the pots too, using the apothecary by getting 2 ingrediants per pot.
