Nintendo considering remaking "A Link to the Past"

Eiji Aonuma mentions next Zelda adventure, possible LTTP remake.

 

Nintendo fans, this one could go a long way towards forgiving Nintendo for all those non-games you've been tolerating.

 

 

 

The Legend of Zelda sage Eiji Aonuma has said that he'd like to produce a 3D remake of the SNES classic, "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past." Talking to ONM, Aonuma enlightened, "Ocarina of Time was the first title I worked on, and I was continuously tackling challenges every day during its development, so I think this is the title I feel I impacted the mostÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâæI have to say though, the first Zelda game that I played and felt potential in was Link to the Past. I'm actually very interested in what it would be like if we remade that title as a 3D game."

 

 

 

Just as interesting, Aonuma gave mention to the next Zelda adventure. Curiously, he stated that the game could sport a different look depending on what works best with the story and gameplay. We can't wait to see what Nintendo has in mind.

 

 

 

 

 

Now, normally I'm against remakes. However I think that, if done correctly, a link to the past remake may be something that could be legendary. Coupled with the Wii-mote and a TP style (as they stated in the article) and it could be pretty incredible.

Hell yes. Though if they do, I'll regret getting the original for the virtual console and not just saving the $10 for the remake. Oh well, I say bring it on. =D>

Eh, it was already remade for the GBA. I won't have a problem with it on the Wii and would definitely buy it, but I'd rather Nintendo focus on bringing a whole new Zelda to the table.

I would buy it instantaneously. I usually hate remakes, but this could actually be a good idea.

 

 

 

It would be a little cooler if they remade this game and coupled it with a new Zelda game, like they did KHII: FM with Chain of memories, and call it RE: Link to the Past.

Obviously if they do make it, it will be good, but i secretely wished, ever sinced i played TP, that they would do that with Ocarina of Time..... :shock:
