I know he got harder when Jagex changed it so the mage and ranger could attack you anywhere in the room but you should still be able to get one kill in a trip surely? Soloing any of the bosses is nearly impossible even with maxed stats. Go with a team. No, soloing any of the bosses can be done (multiple times even for zammy boss) WITHOUT maxed stats.
