Having a hard time finding a decent webhosting service!!!

Hi guys, i'm having a VERY difficult time finding a paying hosting or a free hosting service with decent quality.

 

 

 

So far all the ones I tried to sign up for that requires paying is 15+ and up and I only get 12 bucks on my online account and it will be awhile till I can get some funds in there.

 

 

 

I thought about going for some free web hosting services but DAM they all suck.

 

 

 

I have tried freewebs and it has no customizability to it!!

 

Geocities is nice but the banner is annoying as hell.

 

I tried also atspace and awardspace and both are filled with so much junk and give you no ideas on how to even get to the dam first page!

 

 

 

I'm stuck in a bind here.. do I need to get like dreamweaver or something to build up my website and then host it from there? Or what..

Uh, 1 and 1 is an amazing host, have several accounts with them atm.

 

 

 

The beginner hosting package is 3.99 us a month, and the billing is in 6-month periods...

For free, I would definitely have to suggest Google Pages. From what I've seen using it, it is very customizable, looks great, and is free. :)

 

 

 

If you were going to do paid hosting, you would need to know about HTML, CSS, FTP, etc.

I lost count of how many times i told people to go to http://www.webhostingtalk.com to stop any bias from people on this forum referring their friends bedroom hosting comapnies etc but here it is again.
