Well, I'm getting my hunter up for a spottier cape and I noticed this will put me past the magical level of 63. Would runecrafting nature runes or hunting Red Chinchompas be better for gp?

Runecrafting, not not entirely sure ever since the shop's limitless runes or the price of pure ess.

 

 

 

Most likely runecrafting beats hunter gp wise.

At your current RC lvl, you could probably manage about 1k nats per hour. That's 300k. Say 200k+ after expenses (essence and energy pots)

 

 

 

At 63 hunting you could probably manage about 150 chinchompas per hour, which is about 110k per hour.

 

 

 

RC is more profitable, and besides... finding an empty spot for chin hunting is a total nightmare

I agree with all of them. I am at the moment mining 72k ess for runecrafting nature runes ^^ and when i use a calculator for the calculations i see that the outcome is a lot of money once i alch all of products i have

Also remember that 80 hunter is insanely easy to get (esp compared to rcing), and 330+ red chins per hour come rolling at magical 80 (5 traps) = 260k per hour. There is zero risk hunting, no loss of glories, and I have gained about 3 slayer levels through the massive amount of genies you get while hunting red chins.

 

 

 

Yes, rcing is very profitable, and unbeatable at 91, but red chins are decent imo :)

I enjoy Hunter WAY more than I do RC'ing.

 

 

 

What's worth more to you, GP or fun? Do both and see whatcha like more.

I never mentioned a 99... if you talk about 99s RC can't be compared... 99 RC = 400m+

It's all opinion. I find hunter incredibly boring... you can essentially stay in the same 6x6 square for 2 months and get 99. Not to mention that getting 44-99 rc only crafting your own nats makes you around 600m...

Well, that is the just of it. Rcing is a faster and more effective way to make cash, but you can always possibly die, and it requires some cash for investment. Hunter requires little cash input, the levels come fast (if that is a concern), the cash is ok, but not nearly as great at rcing. The only problem with it would be the rapid clicking, which becomes even more needed as you are able to use more traps, and catch chinchompas faster.

 

 

 

If you can't decide, try each one for a few hours, and figure out what you might like.
