Do you get inspired by music?

...while you are making something?

Sometimes I get this amazing idea when I listen to a song, and I try to

make what I thought of.

Do you listen to music while you make a sig/pixel sig/landscape/drawing/etc?

I don't know why, but I don't really like listening to music when I'm making something. It kind of distracts me.

I be like listening to one of my favorite songs when I think "OMG this would make like an awesome idea for a siggy!!". Then I listen to that song repetitively while making the sig...

Yeah I do.

Usually it has nothing at all to do with the song I was listening to, but whatever.

I find that music often puts me off. I simply can't work at all with music (especially when I'm listening to rock & metal). The only thing I can do with music is play games or sleep. :P

RIP Michaelangelopolous

Something soothing but still rock music is what I like to listen to when I'm designing.

Page on slide, very melodic. And it's over 11 minutes too.

Music and art have always gone hand in hand theres no question, but more than anything my initial ideas can be sprung up from almost anything. Most the time music is just background music to keep me in the right state of mind. I don't know how religious about music you guys are but I hardly listen to a song and think 'Bingo! thats a great idea'. But I certainly vision music video's from time to time, animation is just a passion for me atm.

I'm the same way to be honest. It's mostly the mood the music puts me in that inspires me, not necisarily what it is actually about. Once I think what I want to do sometimes I'll just keep the same song on repeat for the durration of the piece, so I don't lose that train of thought.
