the thingy?

Featured Replies

As you may or might not know, if you search the grand exchange for a "thingy" you come up with 5 things called thingys which sell for 2-3 gp each that that look like magic ammys. but no one is selling them.

a mod said this about them in the runescape fourms:

-------

Content Development often add little jokes to their updates. Sometimes we're told about them before they're added to the game.

Occasionally, they believe that it would be more amusing to just add them without telling us. Then we get lots of messages asking what a 'Thingy' is. ;)

-------

and seeing as no one is selling them and people are offering up tons of money ( I know lots of people have 500k waiting in the GE to pay for thingys it seems like the cost for thingys well go upfoever.... unless they really make them....

here be some questons for you to answer

1) what would a thingy mabob do?

2)what would you want it to do?

3)would you buy one for 3mil if you could?

4)Can we some how use the thingy even if it is not a real item?

5) Can it let us open that stupid trap door in the GE?

Sorry if there is a topic like this... I searched and found none.

They're used for summoning, along with ashes of course.

The thingy used for the thing that goes with the thing that levels up that thing yout thinking of?

Don't you know the first rule of MMO's? Anyone higher level than you has no life, and anyone lower than you is a noob.

People in OT eat glass when they are bored.

then take a screen shot :)

Its probably exactly what the mod said - an easter egg. As far as what I would pay, as long as it was the only one sold, upwards of 1 billion gp. a true 1 of a kind item would be priceless.

The thingy goes into the whosey whatsit which is connected to the whatcha callit with is glued to the mabob.

eh they're just having some fun. Seeing how many people they can get to ask about it. But it probably has some later use for summoning.

then take a screen shot :)

His prt scrn button fell off.

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.

always keep in mind, jagex s a very strong sense of humor. this could either be an elaborate plan to create upsoming items, or a simple practical joke on all of us. only time will tell.
