Goldenjkered
I'm sure a ton of you have thought about this by now, but here goes. Theres a big problem with selling certain things in the grand exchange, noteably large quantities of items, and items that are not bought a lot, e.g talismans. This problem is, that once you put a item up for sale for over, approx lets say four days, then theres always a risk that the price for that item could either rise higher inprice range then you put it up for, or lower in price range. For example, lets say you put up 10 rune boots for 80k each, and don't expect them to sell instantly. So, you come back four days later to see that the price range for rune boots is now 70 - 77k, and it is then impossible for anyone to buy those rune boots, as 77k is the max price being able to be entered. This could start to get annoying, if your selling e.g 130k yew logs for 390 each, when they drop to 350. Any thoughts on this? P.S Don't say just go and change the price, because the person may be on holiday or taking a break, and therefore unable to change the price. tintin113
Jagex have already noted this problem and have said that you DO simply have to go and change the price, they're staying firm. mrmyk
It's not that hard to do, is it? Just log in quickly and change the price. The only annoyance would be if you are camping somewhere and have a large quantity of items to sell which would mean leaving the area you are camping at to change the price. alcoolj
There̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s no difference to putting the goods for sale on a forum, leaving for a few days and not getting a sale due to price fluctuations while you are away. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s a better system as you get the benefit of having the goods up for sale for a day or two before a price change, you don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t get that on the forums. aafftteerr
But what if you put it at maximum price and the 5% fell to lower than what you had, with the exchange lower your price to the new high or take the item off :?:
icecube
But what if you put it at maximum price and the 5% fell to lower than what you had, with the exchange lower your price to the new high or take the item off :?: It'd stay in at it's price but it won't sell. You'll need to go back and change it manually.
brave
This is one of the reasons why I think there should be branches of the GE in other places. Having to keep returning to Varrock to check your items every day is a pain.
