Smackapotato
I don't think merchanting with the GE will work out very well, unless you buy a bunch of cheap stuff now and wait till prices go back up to sell them again. EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

primadog
GE is designed to reduce the fluctuations of prices that merchants need to survive. Instead, why not find out the differences between prices in W2 and GE and make money off that price gap? agira
I think GE is not for merchanting, logic then ge for this ruin ge and make money looses... any min or max price transaction are fluent to item price, if all sell something with min price, then in few days min price will be base(middle) price and we in same way drop price down.. Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
Celestrana
The Grand Exchange is mainly for convenience. I'm not a merchant and I'm quite happy with using GE to sell off my Law runes that I make. For every 1K Law runes that I sell, I usually get around 300K gp +/- 2K gp. I then take this money and can quickly replenish my stock of pure essence, usually using the full amount and getting 3K pure essence and some gp change. I know I just stated one of the many obvious uses for the Grand Exchange but I simply love it for the quick and painless selling and buying of materials. Dexek
Don't merchant with the GE. It is quite useless for merchanting considering the maximum profit made is 10%, that of which is very unlikely. Instead, why not find out the differences between prices in W2 and GE and make money off that price gap? Best information you have gotten on this thread. It is quite easy to make back 1.3m.. You can always try something small or not quite thought of to merchant. Like buying yew longs 600-610 ea and selling for 610-620 ea or buy willows in HIGH amounts at 11 ea and resell them at 15 ea... Mainly continue to use the forums m8, they are your friend still. Apparently, my signature was to big.

Thegame1441
you need to find raw materials that sell for less than the finish product. For example, lets say that you can buy green hides for 1.4K than use three to make a dhide body that high alchs for 4.8K, free exp plus a small profit, assuming you craft nats.
