Well I started the Bar Crawl thing because I want a prayer book.

 

So in order to do the Horror from the Deep quest, I do the bar crawl.

 

 

 

Now I'm thinking, you need 4 pages to complete your book and get the profits of the book. But how odd is a page reward in Treasure Trail? Is it better to buy the pages? I heard they are between 40K and 50K?

 

And is there a book wich is helpfull to choose first? Or is it: pick one, complete it, return?

Guthix book have the cheapest pages (30k around that each). Pages are quite common in 1-2 clues, level 3 taking long time to do.

 

 

 

If I were low on money I would pick a Guthix book, but if I had money I would get a Zamorak book considering +8 all offensive attack stats.

I wouldn't suggest doing TT for all your pages. Though I guess it's common, there are so many rewards that it'll take you a while to get the right pages, especially if you end up with multiples of another.

 

 

 

Now you could always do TT and sell other rewards for profit, which then you could use to buy some pages.

If you devote maybe a week to thieving ham members you should end up with quite a good share of pages.

Each book has it's own bonus. I believe they are something along these lines.

 

 

 

Guthix ~ +4 to all attack bonuses; +4 to all defence bonuses

 

Sara ~ +8 to all defence bonuses

 

Zamorak ~ +8 to all attack bonuses.

 

 

 

Guthix pages are averaged at 30k.

 

Sara pages are averaged at 70k.

 

Zamorak pages are averaged at 135k.

 

 

 

These prices may be off, but you get the idea.

Once you complete a book you can go back and get another book. Once that book is completed you can go back and get the remaining book.

 

 

 

You can not get a different book untill your current one is complete.

 

 

 

Complete means it has all 4 pages.

When the book is missing pages, it will just be called "Torn Book", or something along those lines. When they are finished, they have different names..

 

 

 

Saradomin - Holy Book - +8 to all defensive stats

 

Zamorak - Unholy Book - +8 to all attack stats (but not strength, I believe)

 

Guthix - Book of Balance - +4 to all attack and defensive stats

 

~All books give a +5 prayer Bonus~

 

 

 

It's quicker to buy the pages... but you can get them pretty commonly and easily from level 1 and 2 clues

You can't buy books if you don't have one. You have to obtain one from the Horror from the Deep quest. Once you have one, you can buy the pages, or do TT for the pages.

 

After you've completed one book, you can buy another one I think for 1K.
