Would you miss the internet if it ceased to exist?

Featured Replies

The internet has helped me become more aware in many subjects that I otherwise wouldn't know much about. For example: culture, religion (Buddhism especially), spirituality (OBEs), world issues (Iraq, Darfur), politics, drug use, the media etc.

It's like a book that is about everything, never stops giving you knowledge, and is always willing to accept your thoughts and compositions.

Cleaned my room out and found some old essays I made a year or two ago. I'd never have done them of it weren't for the various political debates we had right here.

(... and they were good essays too...)

Not to sound rude but you're only harping on one, tiny instance of the internet -- file sharing.

Anyways I just don't think you should shun the entire internet because of file sharing alone.

Exactly what I was going to say. >.<

No RuneScape :(, but after these updates, I doubt that I'll play it more anyways.

Plus, no Tip.It or fun st00f.

I agree that social contact in life is 1000000000 times better than over msn or such however stuff like wikipedia is amazing.

A friend to all is a friend to none.

would prrob be a riot lol

edit: that just made me imagine 10 yr old rs players shouting "at at at at at at at" lots of times :|

I would miss some things, but I have friends, I can contact those friends, and iTunes doesn't really need the internet. I would say no, I would not miss it.

Currently the best beat out there:

Minuit jacuzzi (DatA Remix) - TEPR

but the question is, are we using it fully?

I thought the question was about if we'd miss internet if it was gone?

Or, was it about internet being evil and stealing music?

Seriously, this place we call the internet is like a home to me. And as nerdy as that sounds, I bet many people feel the same way. I have so many friends all around the world due to the internet, and it gives me many lulz as well, so I can pretty much see the internet as my main source of happiness.

The internet would be dearly missed by me :(

Lulz are very important in my life.

Internets good for news and weather too. Warns me bout snow days. \'
