May 1, 200521 yr hello I'd like that you can not only dye capes and wigs, but also armor weapons and other stuff which could be dyed, and that you can also create your own dye by using the ingredients which you should've needed for aggie with a vial of water (maybe as a new herblore option) and that there are also added new colors Any comments about this idea?
May 1, 200521 yr Author Well, if you could dye armour, you wouldnt see if its strong or not if you dont move your mouse pointer over it, tricky in wilderness
May 2, 200521 yr I guess it would add some variety if you could add a color to you armors, like "trimmimg" it, but at another place.

May 2, 200521 yr Author In a trade, when you move your mouse pointer over for example a blue dyed bronze plate body, it just says bronze plate body, and in the second screen there also stands bronze plate body, Also I had the idea to remove the dye (retrieving the original color of the item (light blue at rune, or the original party hat color) by using the item with a bucket of water
May 2, 200521 yr I'd like that you can not only dye capes and wigs, but also armor and weapons do you even know what dye is??? how the heck do you expect to dye a metal... honestly thats ridiculous
May 2, 200521 yr I'd like that you can not only dye capes and wigs, but also armor and weapons do you even know what dye is??? how the heck do you expect to dye a metal... honestly thats ridiculous Youd have to use a primer first :P or use stains and tints instead. there are no stupid questions just way too many inquisitive idiots balance is scary to people who like things easy for them
May 2, 200521 yr One guy once asked Guthix about this in a letter, he replied: "The dyes in this land are very corrosive, thou wouldst not want to put it upon thine armour..."

May 2, 200521 yr do you even know what dye is??? OK I think you should be able to dye all material... leather, capes, skirts, aprons etc. That at least makes sense. I don't think we should make our own dyes though, it is too easy. I do think that that's a good idea except armour dye-ing!
May 3, 200521 yr Really? Why? It is what you would be able to do in real life, and the real reason is that it looks better I guess. It would stop members swarming f2p with "Giant coloured gloves sale! 2K per item!! Hit 666!!!" which is a perk.
May 3, 200521 yr Die red party hat... blue... :D *Pull blue paints then brush on 5 of each types of party hats and use heater to make drying. A few hours later and pull all new blue party hats* Sell blue partyhats for 26 millions each!!!
May 3, 200521 yr Author the prices for party hats would be chaotic, because the most expensive and the least expensive have a great price difference, ofcourse you could remove the dye, so the hat will be returned to its original color, but then again, everybody could dye it again
May 3, 200521 yr Die red party hat... blue... :D Haha! I found that hilariously funny, that's just like reintroducing the item duping bug.
May 4, 200521 yr hmmm... could we die a santa hat green or blue??? dude i got pked and lost my full zezima
May 6, 200521 yr Die red party hat... blue... :D If you mix red with blue you get purple :P , not blue.
May 7, 200521 yr Author if you dye a red party hat with a blue dye, you get a blue party hat, however if, you mix a blue and a red dye before adding them to the object, you get purple, which creates a purple party hat
