This might just be a step for RCers, making it harder for them to get their levels up. Not the end of the world, just going to be fairly hard for those people who used the runners. We'll just have a generation of bragging "omg I didnt get a chance to use runners for my 99!" people.Consider the exp rate per rune; the highest amount of exp you can get, normally at least, is 11 or so. Compare to other skills. See? It's ALWAYS been time consuming, if not hard, to get lvl 99 Runecrafting. If the CORPORAL beast is this hard, imagine how hard a GENERAL or COLONEL beast would be. a corporal is not even an admirable rank in armies that use that ranking system. Yeah, it is a pking minigame, so any arguments anybody makes will probably be biased.The best way this will end :Everybody just says,"I'm not arguing with you anymore, goodbye."The worst way this will end: I don't really know, psychological warfare? Noone to pk you...You can go, and with buy-x, buy any amount of runes you need. Thus, the price of runes will NOT rise above the store price. Now is when it gets depressing. With the macroers gone, the price of pure ess will rise. (players will have to mine it themselves, which blows) But since the price of nats aren't rising, then the profit will fall. Now is when it gets interesting, instead of depressing...Say pure ess rises. Now, imagine a world where pure ess is the price of, oh, 320 each? I believe, if my memory serves me right, 320 is the current set price at the zamarock mage in the wildy. This would mean that your 28 pure ess are equal to your 28 nature runes. Running alive again? Unfortunately, this will not happen, since pure ess would rise or fall, it most likely would not stay still at that price. :? The problem being that ZMI doesn't give all natures, or all laws. And as xp slows down, people will abandon the slow RCing, and either use the ZMI or give up. And with these updates, the free market goes out the window, Ravenkana. We can't offer discounts on items to move them quickly. The GE doesn't provide for this because we have to restrict prices to a range. We can't trade unbalanced anymore, so a 100gp discount on more than 30 items isn't possible. Not everyone uses ZMI or wants fast rc exp.. There will always be people who rc for the sole purpose of money, regardless of whether they have 91 rc or not. Deaths and laws have opened up to replace nat rcing for people below 91 rc. The loss of supply from the collapse of ess running companies could make up for the loss of demand from pkers training magic to pk that quitted in the december 10 update. Even though it has been confirmed that Jagex has set some price limitations on certain items within the GE, I doubt they'll keep p ess from going over 150 each. If anything, they'll probably just remove p ess or make it f2p.
