Featured Replies

Hi!

I am making a str pure that is level low 50s.

By the way to ppl who r like pures r gone plz dont comment like this.

My stats as of this moment r 24attck 20str 19hp and combat is level 19.

Is it worth it to get attck to level 30 and wear addam scimmy and have high str or have 40attck with r scimmy and have little lower str... I need suggestions...

This pure is for lower level bounty hunter, staking, or pvp action.

I would say go for the 40 attack.

[spoiler=Stats:]Updated December 22, 2011:

Total level - 1442 - 170M+ XP , Combat level - 115

Combat skills: Attack - 90, Defence - 99 (24.45m+ XP), Strength - 90, Constitution - 99 (16.42M+ XP) Ranged - 99 (13.32M+ XP), Prayer - 60, Magic - 99 (13.25M+ XP)

Non-Combat skills: Cooking - 99 (13.80M+ XP), Woodcutting - 99 (31.95M+ XP), Fishing - 90, Firemaking - 99 (24.82M+), Crafting - 90, Smithing - 90, Mining - 85, Runecrafting - 60, Dungeoneering - 85

40 attack... you would hit more with a rune scim even with a lower str lvl. Plus hitting higher with 2h ko might be useful.

My attck level is now 26 and quickly rising. However i still need more comments. Does 30 and 40 attck make a huge difference in the % of making a hit??

And if i dont use those two levels is it worth just getting the 1 extra max hit??

As of right now im choosing 40attck.

Any suggestions?

This is your consience... go for the 40 attack... you know you want to......

lol, sorry about that...

Yeah, I don't have a cool signature, so the MSSW3 sig will have to do....

I'd say, if this is for bounty hunters, get 30 attack.... cheaper weapon to lose, and u got better strength.

The majority of pures you will face in the 50-55 range are Range/R2H pures. The dominate in that range of levels, and you should be thinking along those lines aswell eventually. Its only in the 65+ combat range that strength pures begin to whallop range/R2H pures and thats the ones who still have 1 def/1 prayer. Most have 31 prayer by the time they hit the 60+ combat level leaving them out of thier depth once prayer runs out. BH allows you to escape though and auto refills your run AND prayer.

You can easily reach the 54 combat level by staying at 30 attack, 80 strength with 40 range only for dhide and leveling your range up through failed curse. You will have a whopping 70+ hitpoint level, but be warned you cannot raise your attack once you have chosen this road least you go over the horrible 55 level and be in the midst of level 95 + tanks (thats me btw :P)

55 is an awkward combat level to have for Bounty Hunter, as you cannot be a maxed ranger/R2H user (77range, 77 strength) - test it out once you are combat 50 with 30 attack, if it works go whole hog to be 80 str level 54 :) If not, get those extra 10 attack levels.
