Demeige
I think it's really bold that they would try out for something that is normally a "feminine"(sp? looks so weird) thing. How does a profession differ from an occupation?

DaN
I see far more chicks than guys and thats without haveing to dance for it. Yeah, but how far do you get with them? The three im normally with are my Ex and two lesbians one of wich is my ex's best friend. My ex sometimes seeks special attention from me because she know i respect her and wont just use her the way alot of guys would. thru these three chicks im able to meet more chicks so ive nothing stopping me getting another gf but atm im just not after another gf because i still have strong feelings for my ex. I also get invited to partys by alot of chicks because they feel safer when im there as they all trust me far more than they do anyone else. as you probably know yourself its great walking into a party with two or three chicks either side of you, its fun to pretend i have 6 girlfriends at partys the chicks usually play along claiming to be mine its great. EDIT: I should also point out that homophobia is the fear of becoming homosexual ~Dan64AuSince 27 Aug 2002
kido14
Nothing is wrong with being a male cheerleader, and it doesn't mean you are g4y. I don't mind g4y people.. What I hate is, well for example, the silence day.. Some immature kids make shirts that say "loud and proud" and some even have *straight line* > *squigly line*. Thats just lame. Oh, and all those guys who say that don't dislike guys because that just let's there be more girls available for them is lame too.. Same goes for the guys that just want to be cheerleaders to be with good looking girls. Alan
Ask Kilkus or Molndalsbro. Omg lol  Dunno who you are, but you obviously know me :P Well, personally, i don't think there's anything wrong with being a male cheerleader. They need strong people to throw them up in the air and catch them and not many girls will opt to bulk up rather than to slim down :P <3 bring it on
ice_ring
Well two guys from our school recently tried out for cheerleading and got in, I think I know why too....it just involves girls with skirts above their heads.
mrcowcow
EDIT: I should also point out that homophobia is the fear of becoming homosexual Wrong. From http://www.webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=homophobia: irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals I really dont like homophobes. I feel that it is just like racism or sexism. Discrimination is wrong, and will always be wrong. On the topic of male cheerleaders, I see nothing wrong with it. If they are happy, I am ok with it. ROFL! Hahahaha hilarious Um anyways, I don't think there's anything wrong with guy cheerleaders as some have stated earlier. (maybe I should put on a mini skirt and high-heels and try out for the squad?) It's ok for men to look at women but not the other way around? Sorry to say but that's just hypocrisy. Lol. Pete_the_Viscous
Discrimination is wrong, and will always be wrong. I don't agree there: obviously it isn't literally true, as you need to discriminate when looking for a particular thing, but also in that I think there are some things that men are better at than women, and vice versa. Women bouncers, for example. Male.... I'm sure there's something, anyway. I don't see what's wrong with male cheer-leaders, though; unless it's that some men would feel better if they were being cheered by women, as a boost to their ego. Just because it isn't a particularly manly thing, doesn't mean that menshouldn't be able to do it. On that note, women should be able to be bouncers--they just might not be as good at it, so they shouldn't be employed as bouncers, as employers would probably want men. deviantart account

Sab128
It's just not right in my opinion, we don't have cheerleaders in England, but sometimes when I watch American football, cheerleaders are nice to look at, guys just screw it all up. :?
Multani
How many other ways are there to get extracurricular credit for feeling up attractive women? I have moral objections to cheerleading in general, but I can see why guys would do it.

You don't even know what your typing because you say "i like girls to check me out but not the opposite gender!" Umm... wouldn't that be girls if your a guy smart one? 2. Do you always use smiley faces to spam? 3. Imagine a dog with a dog... It's not that hard to imagine, please tell me I'm understanding you incorrectly. 4. If a "g4y" guy tried to hug you, you would shoot him? What is it with you idiots that think that you're sooooo hot that if a g@y person hugged you, it automaticaly means that they "want you". Just because they are homosexual doesn't mean that they want everyone that is the same gender as them.

jesselt
First of all a homosexual wouldn't just run up and hug you unless they know you. And if they did know you, would you also shoot a girl if they ran up and hugged you? No? hmmm.... discrimination?
