Cap of Miscellania items? Or get now?

Infernalz

Recommended Posts

OK, well I have kept my items in Miscellania for about 4-5 months now. I am hoping to keep them brewing for like another 6 months, until school is out here. But I need to know if there is some cap of items you can receive from that. I have 100% on herbs, and 50% on farming seeds. Seeing as this could be a huge waste of time letting them stay at the most amount of items in there and not getting any more. I check it like each 2 weeks or so, and keep the rate at like 70% or higher. And since us members just got a huge bank space addition, this may be the best time, but the longer in there the more I would get...

So, is there a cap of items you can get from Miscellania? Or would it just be a better idea for me to get them all now?

First, no there is no cap.

and Second, CHANGE YOUR FRIGKEN RESOURCES!!! Herbs are way too overpriced. They're almost 1k per herb and most of the herbs that you get won't be worth 1k. The farmings seeds are NEVER worth their cost. You could buy the same seeds on the GE for much less. I suggest that you switch to 5 or 10 maples and either coal or flax. I'm suggesting the maples because summoning is coming soon, and with that much work built up, it's almost certain that you'll get several bird eggs. I'd suggest coal if you just want profit because coal is the most profitable of the MtK resources, or flax if you want a significantly smaller profit and herb seeds or crafting training and a larger profit.

It's extremely lucky that you posted before collecting that rubbish. You would've have just wasted almost half of a year and a LOT of money.

Well thanks for the fact that there is no cap, just needed to know that off the top.

As for what to collect. I am not really trying to get money from these resources. I use the herbs and seeds, some of them, for their respective skills. I usually keep the pots... I don't know why since i usually don't use them...

But that is a good reason for changing those. The maples and coal are good money grabbers all around and will probably need more for summoning. But would need to cut the trees for logs to get the eggs.

So I'll probably collect them now and decide what to set them to sooner or later...

Just a thought, but wouldn't flax be better then coal now that autoers are out? Or hasn't flax risen (Has coal?)?

I theory there is a cap, but it's so high you don't have to worry about hitting it. The cap would be 12.4Bil (I belive, around that anyway) aka same ammount an integer can hold when you're programming. I haven't been programming very long so I don't know if it's also called an integer in java programming aswell but I'm quite sure it applies to RS. So yeah, I don't think you'll be getting 12Bil of anything there any time soon :P

I might have misunderstood what you meant here, but you DO get nests which do have eggs in Misc. kingdom.

The last time that I checked, flax was down to 60 or so, and coal sells at 160ea. So the profits would be about 5gp per flax, and about 65 gp per coal.

It may be, I think I've got them all mixed up in my head :-# Now that I think of it I think a integer is like 32k and a long is the one that's in the billions. I'm too lazy to go through all the tutorials to check :P Interesting about the flax though, I would have expected a big increase in flax prices due to autoers being killed. I guess coal's better.

I meant that I thought that you only got bird's eggs from the trees you cut to get logs that are put in your inventory, like cutting the maples behind seers bank, you get logs form those. But in this case it's good to be wrong ::'

Yes he right, i now 10 - flax (later i will spin all then sell or make yew longs - still not sure), 5 - maples (just i need tree seeds and bird nests), latter i plan to change again 10 on coal (i done it before - i got like 30k coal) and maybye 5 on maples or flax (not sure yet what plans will be)

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.
