That being said I like Barack Obama because he is fundamentally what I look for in a politician - charismatic, smart, and seems to have some deep rooted ideals which appear to reflect my views in many areas. I hope he wins, not for the sake of seeing a black man in the white House but because he is the best candidate

 

 

 

Agreed. The US needs someone like him after Bush. I've heard a couple of his speaches on youtube and they actually aren't boring like someone would expect a presidential speech to be like.

 

 

 

I read his speech on faith in America [1]. Damn, he's the kind of guy I would vote for. America needs Obama after Bush, I'd say. I'm not religious, but I pray for his success in campaigning and doing the best by your country should he win, which I think he will do.

 

 

 

He seems like a real person. He has real doubts, has real concerns and has real aspirations in his work.

I believe what makes Obama appealing out of all the canidates and the best one at that, is because he is honest and he has the right heart/motivation.

 

 

 

Here some stuff he talks about:

"A president who won't tell you what you want to hear but what you need to know"

 

 

 

"I will be a president who harnesses the inguenuity of farmers and scientists and entrepreneurs to free this nation from the teariny of oil once and for all."

 

 

 

America uses 25 Million Barrels per day and houses a world population of 5%. While the worlds total population of oil comsuption per day is 84 Million, including America. That means 1/20th of the worlds population is dependent on 30%. The other 70% go to the rest of the 19/20. America is heavilly dependent on oil and I hope technology will make oil's worth fruitless.

 

 

 

Obama has a vision for America.. a great America. Everyone else, is just fore play.
