Knight_Zaros
Are the price changes somehow affected by what the players buy and sell for through the GE? Like if everyones buying and selling say said Santa Hat for minimum price, does this make the santa hats minimum price continue to drop? Lets_3ekout
That's exactly how price changes work, even Jagex are smart enough not to put some sort of random genertor (or something like that) on the price :P Basicly, If there are many people selling at min price (without a similar amount of buyers) prices go down. If sellers are all selling at max price and there areen't a similar amount of buyers at the same price the prices go up. Similar concept to buying. However there are exceptions, I've been trying to sell my 1.5k strung yew longs ever since GE was released and only today did they sell. All that time, I believe the price didn't budge, and I was selling at min price all the time. There is a certain amount a item can increase per day, the more the item costs the more it can increase/decrease per day. Funny if someone get something like waterskins which have 1 dose to like 200kea  A Draconic Guide V1.4, Fimer - Multi-Timer Farming Timer V3.Dragon Boots: 39|Abyssal Whips: 16|Dark Bows: 1|

Wrong. All items have a price floor and ceiling. This is the biggest flaw in the GE. The floors and ceilings often seem to be completely arbitrary prices. Proud owner of a Quest cape! They set the "floor" price way over what they used to sell for, great work Jagex :( Then why are raw chompies still 85 ea after 5 weeks? That's why I mentioned yew longs. Many are price floors are 11/12 of the alch price, like Yew Longs. So they're going off of some formulas.
