A) Don't Bump your post while it's still on the 1st page.

B) In F2P, there isn't any "big" monster drops that could cover the price of runes.

C) Go into the Stronghold of Security, and mage the monster you feel comfortable with. Experiment, and you will find where you like to go.

If your using a cast spell, its not possible to break even unless....

You go to lessers demon at karajama and go thru wall(if you have done dragon slayer), and you get constant med drops from the lessers.

Other than that your only going to recieve 1-10% back of what you spent.

You are lucky to get a rune med every 50 lessers, each med helm is worth 11,520 and since he would most likely train with fire bolt that would only cover 100 casts, whereas 50 lessers would use over 1k casts probably.

Strikes may be possible, mind runes are trading at about 11 each on the exchange, airs at 15, so a fire strike costs 41.

The most likely for a possible profit, would seem to be Hill giants, as the drop is a guaranteed big bone, maybe a limpwurt as well (both good trade items) and some other rubbish. Earth strikes are cheaper (only one air) but the lower damage makes the kill rate slower.
