phata_elise
better invest in a cannon and cannonballs. bandos does not seem to be worth it at all IMO. start with guthan and cannon and work from there.

DarkmanX99
Bandos set ~ 34m Guthans set ~ 8m Dharoks set ~ 2,6m Whip ~ 1,5m Dragon boots + mask ~ 800k 45,7mish ... is it worth it for slayer? I am personally just gonna get tassets on my main, and just use Tassets and a torso. Guthans is well worth it. Dharoks not so much. Whip, duh. Dragon boots and mask ftw. So basically if you have a torso its prolly easier to just get the tassets a becuase its 20m or something cheaper with out the bandos body. ultimatballr
Bandos set is by no means worth it. Tassets? waste, the extra 2 str bonus isnt worth the 13m (ish) Dharoks, I see no use for it in slaying. (if you thinking fire giants and smokey well, meh its just as fine to use brimhaven + guthans to heal.) --- Rune pl8 (or torso) + D skirt (or legs if you WANT to spend money) and you will be fine. Maybe a DFS. If you must. Unless you are trying to get fast slayer levels (well at least a few hours faster) then you can invest in a cannon + cb's. Personally I don't get alot of cannonable tasks often and I don't mind the extra time on cannonable tasks so I don't spend the extra money. Apparently, my signature was to big. kemikalkadet
If you can afford it then go for it. That's pretty much the best set-up you can get. Bandos armour is the best non-degradable armour and guthans is invaluable. although, i'd suggest using a fury and dfs.. if you cant afford them, get them instead of the bandos and buy bandos when you can afford it. Dharoks really isn't that useful. I very very rarely used them on tasks, and only when i was bored.. in most cases a whip is just as efficient. I really suggest getting a cannon too if you're planning some serious slaying, it speeds up exp so much.

icecube
I would recommend Torso and Verac skirt instead of Bandos. Not worth the cost at all.
Captainkidd
It is worth it for slayer, if your serious at training it.
