Soulthresher
Recently, I've been alching in many different places, G.E., Edge, Yanille, etc., and I have been noticing alot of skill capes. Most of them have been Strength, Cooking, Fletching, and even more dreadfully, Fishing. Now there is nothing wrong with these skill capes but I have a Fishing cape myself and it has been my pride and joy ever since I bought it. So, I am in search of a new skill cape, hopefully rarer than my previous two. I've narrowed down my choices to five skills: Magic, Agility, Thieving, Hunter, and Summoning (Once it comes out, of course). Now, I can't think of which one to focus on or which one would be a better choice to train, they have all of their advantages and disadvantages. Thats what I need help with is deciding on what to choose or whether I'm just crazy thinking there are more skill capes than their actually is. Stats: Magic: 88 Agility: 61 Thieving: 61 Hunter: 60 Summoning: N/A Thanks in advance.
Beaumonde
Well either Magic, Agility or Hunter. Magic is somewhat useful and easy enough to train. Agility is kind of useful and can be fun if you use the right Course. Hunter will be extra useful right after summoning comes out because everyone will need hunter stuff for summoning and it will be very expensive (If hunter is really to summoning like mining is to smithing). Thieving just isn't useful and summoning will be mega expensive to train fast will everyone going at it at once right after release. alcoolj
Agility atm would be the most respected out of your choices. Mage would be a close second due to the cost, and summoning is an unknown. Getting 99 in summoning would be a major achievement as you would be one of the first few hundy to get one. Hunter and thieving are both considered to be ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâeasy̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ 99̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s due to the very low cost of both and the very high xp per hour you can get from both. Hunter though would provide you with a handy 40M in your pocket which none of others can possibly do, and might assist you in getting 99 mage a lot quicker! ultimatballr
Agility will literally be used in all aspects of your RS life (that include running that is) so I would suggest going with that. Mage really is only needed to be 96 before it becomes useless to level. Thieving and Hunter, though considered "easy" are still respected. Out of the 2 I would say hunter (the money is always a bonus) As for Summoning. It will take longer than all of them to get 99 and it won't be cheap either. So I would say its the 'most' respected since it will be the newest skill cape out. However I don't know if the skill is actually worth it to 99. ---- Hmm out of the 3 I would say either Agility or Summoning. Summoning will get you soo much attention its ridiculous though. :? . Like wearing a Blue Phat and a Con Cape and full Armadyl (something expensive like that) or popping a Christmas Cracker. :anxious: Apparently, my signature was to big. Omegaham
Just to warn you, Agility is a serious pain. It's 40k xp per hour, and it's high maintenance, meaning that you have to pay attention to what you're doing. Still, it's better than mining, and you can get into a decent rhythm if you do it right (I'm typing this while I train, and am averaging a few words per window switch :)) If you can stomach it, go for agility. Darkdoom
Mage takes a while. Trust me, even from 88. Hunter and Thieving are fast tho, and Hunter brings in nice money as well. Awesome sig by LittleBoy.The words "free", "fast", "fun" and "99 stat" just don't go together.
omirzan
mage takes aaaages... don't really go for that. go for some other one.. theiving is cool, but the emote is not that good. my friend is doing hunter, it's a relativley fast skill to train, and u get loads of money from doing chins. d drops/ legs(0) chain (0) axes (0) skirts (0) meds(0)/ visage! Lacoste
get 99 hunter, then use the money after selling the chinns to get 99 mage, then you can wear that pretty cape and go for theiving, after which you will conclude with agility after you become a pro at getting 99s =)
